Day Has Come

Part Sixty One

Chele, Taylor and J.T. settled in quickly and Chele got stronger each day and soon was walking around the lake building her strength back up. "Morning. You guys have to see this." Jessy said as Zac entered carrying Andy. "There's Mommy. You want to go get Mommy?" Zac asked. "Mum." Andy squealed as Zac put him down, helping him stand before letting go. Andy first looked at Zac, then Jessy. "Mum" he squealed. "Hi my Andy." Jessy called to him extending her arms. "Mum." he squealed again and began toddling her way. "Oh my goodness. Walker do you see him?" Diana squealed. "MumMum." Andy said stopping and looking at her. "Talk to him Mom." Jessy suggested and Diana called him, pleased as Andy toddled her way. "MumMum." Andy squealed as he made it to her. "Gramma's boy." Diana squealed whisking him into her arms being a perfect grandmother. "That's my boy. Way to go Andy. Grampa is so proud." Walker shared to Andy's delight. "I've never seen an almost nine month old walk. This is amazing." Diana squealed. "Momma says Jessy was this age when she walked. She hated crawling becuse her knees got dirty so she'd went on hands and feet. She didn't like being laughed at so she learned to walk. Her twin, Ben, didn't walk until he was 18 months. Go figure." Zac shared, adding when he noticed her, "Babe what's wrong?" He made his way to her, wrapping his arms around her. "Thanks." Jessy said laying her head on his shoulder, softly crying. "For what babe?" Zac asked confused. "For such great grandparents for Andy. For Andy. For loving me." Jessy answered kissing his neck and nibbling on his ear. "I can tell you're grateful." Zac moaned turning to find her lips, pressing his to hers, kissing her deeply. "Get a room. Is that all you two ever do? Cheap date bro." Taylor teased. "Well thank you, we'll be in yours if you need us for anything." Zac answered whisking Jessy into his arms and heading down the hall. "Zac Hanson. What about your son?" Jessy scolded. "Oops. Mom, Dad can you watch Andy while I talk to my wife." Zac asked backing up to the end of the hallway,. "Of course. Have a nice talk." Walker answered with a laugh. "Thanks. I have a lot to say."Zac teased heading back to their old room, laying her down on the bed before ripping at her clothes. "Zac what's wrong? Ouch." Jessy said grabbing her hair then rubbing her head. Zac continued as if he didn't hear her, pushing his jeans to the floor crawling on top of her kissing her hard as she squirmed beneath him. "Zac wait." Jessy asked but once again he acted as if he didn't hear her and entered her. "Oww. Zac." Jessy whimpered at his forcefulness. "Stop." Jessy screamed and again he acted as if he didn't hear her. She was so confused, what could be so wrong? What had she done to be treated this way? She focused on a red shirt hanging in the closet waiting for him to be done. When he tried to kiss her and she turned away, "Now what?" Zac demanded to know. "I asked you a question." Zac yelled as Jessy squirmed free, grabbing her clothes and making her way to the bathroom, locking the door behind her. "Open this door." Zac demanded as she dressed quickly."Jessy now." he yelled. She slowly opened the door. "What's wrong wth you?" Zac asked pushing the door open sending her backwards against the wall. "Jessy. You okay?" Zac asked moving to her as she raised her arms protecting her head. "What are you doing? You okay?" Zac asked and as he cleared the doorway, Jessy quickly rose and raced out of the room, heading down the hall as fast as she could. At the end of he hallway she noticed everyone still in the kitchen with Andy and J.T. As Chele looked her way she turned her head so she didn't she the tears or fear in her eyes. Without looking back she headed to the front door. Once outside she stopped fighting the tears as a cold wind made her wish she'd gotten her coat. She quickly opened the car door and climbed in, curling up on the seat, crying herself to sleep. After searching for her in the house, Zac headed outside not wanting to ask her whereabouts for fear of others knowing what was going on between them. "What is going on. She's driving me crazy lately, one minute laughing the next crying. Nothing can be wrong, I couldn't handle it.. Must be hormones." Zac thought finally noticing her, "Thank God. There you are." he said opening the car door. "Jessy. You okay?" Zac asked placing his hand on her hip, shaking to wake her. "No." Jessy screamed as he startled her. As she scrambled to get away from him she hit her head on the steering wheel hard. "Owww." Jessy moaned still trying to get away. "Jessy are you okay?" Zac asked reaching to help her up as she once again covered herself with her arms. "Jessy it's me Zac." he replied thinking she was still asleep fearing someone else but when he looked at the fear in her eyes. "Jessy I'd never hurt you." Zac swore. "Jessy please believe me. Don't look at me that way." Zac pleaded as Jessy curled up in a ball in the driver's seat. Zac got in and shut the door, noticing her shivering. He turned the motor on and as the heater kicked in, Jessy relaxed a little. "Jessy why are you looking at me that way? I'd never hurt you." Zac asked. "Liar." Jessy accused. "Honest Jessy." Zac answered hurt that she didn't believe him. "Right. I asked you to wait and I screamed at you to stop and you didn't. You just didn't. You hurt me." Jessy said fighting the tears. "Now why are you crying?" Zac asked annoyed. "That's what it is. That's when you changed. I cried." Jessy said wondering why. "What what is?" Zac asked confused. "Yeah that's it." Jessy insisted. "What's it? Jessy you're driving me crazy." Zac yelled and her arms went up again. "Stop it." Zac insisted as Jessy scrambled out of the car. "Jessy stop now. Please. Not for me, not for you, but for Andy." Zac pleaded. "Stop cheating. Stop hiding behind your son." Jessy said out of frustration, adding, "Andy didn't just force himself on me. Andy didn't ignore me or my feelings. Andy didn't hurt me, you did." "What? When? I didn't mean to if I did. Jessy I love you, why would you say that." Zac asked so sincerely Jessy was thrown. "He doesn't think he treated me that way. He was there. I screamed at him to stop." Jessy was in deep thought when she felt him lay his head on her shoulder. "I don't understand Jessy. What happened? What's wrong?" Zac whispered as he fell to his knees, holding her desperately as he laid his head against her, listening to her heartbeating. "I don't understand either Zac. One minute we were fine, proud of Andy, excited about each other, and then you act as if I don't exist. Zac I screamed at you to stop and you totally ignored me and my feelings." Jessy explained. "What? When? I didn't hear you Jessy, honest." Zac asked totally clueless. "Oh come on, you were on top of me, how could you not hear me." Jessy asked. "Honest Jessy I didn't hear you. My mind must have been on other things at the moment." Zac defended. "Yeah a certain part of me, to hell with the rest." Jessy accused. "I guess I deserved that. Jessy why'd you put your arms up? I'd never hit you." Zac asked with such sorrow in his voice. "I know you wouln't hit me. It's just a reflex left over. You yelled at me and that's how I react to yelling." Jessy explained. "Oh I remember now. Sorry babe. Jessy I'm so sorry." Zac said hugging her desperately. "I know you are Zac I don't know why I'm so emotional lately. I react to everything so, so... not me Zac. What's wrong with me? I don't like being this way." Jessy explained knowing he didn't want to hear it again, waiting for the lecture. "I don't know babe but maybe it's time we find out. Why don't we go make you an appointment to see the doctor. We could ask Mom what she thinks." Zac suggested. "You sure you don't mind? I've been dying to tell her what's going on with me but I was afraid how you'd react to my sharing everything isn't perfect right now." Jessy whispered as he pulled her back into the car. "Jessy I don't care what anyone thinks, all that's important is you. I need you Jessy, I can't live without you so if something's wrong we have to fix it." Zac shared kissing her deeply. "Oh here I go again." Jessy complained about the tears filling her eyes as Zac wrapped her in his arms, "Go ahead and cry babe." Zac insisted. "You're so good to me. Zac the way you were earlier, you know not nice, that's how I expect you to treat me because I'm so messed up, so hot and cold." Jessy admitted. "Nah Jessy. You need special attention now more than ever and I go acting like a spoiled brat think only about me and my needs. Can you forgive me Jessy?" Zac asked pleading to know. "Of course I can. I love you Zac Hanson and I'm going to figure this out somehow and fix it. I won't my old life back and I'm going to fight to get it." Jessy declared, adding, "I'm starting with you. Come here." "Jessy the look in your eyes." Zac gasped. "You like. I call it my 'Zac loves me and I thank God he does' look." Jessy answered her lips touching his as she spoke. "Jessy." Zac moaned as she finally kissed him. "What are you doing?" Zac asked as she slid into the driver's seat and pulled around the far side of the garage. "It's called a little privacy." Jessy said crawling back into his lap. "And we need privacy for?" Zac asked with a twinkle in his eyes. "Cuz I'm going to love you like you've never been loved before." Jessy answered and did just that. As they laid in each other's arms, "Zac how can I feel so low one minute knowing this about us. I love you so much, You're everything good in my life." Jessy wondered. "I love you too Jessy. We definitely are meant to be babe." Zac insisted as they headed back inside getting Jessie to babysit while they met with the folks, explaining what had been going on between them, "It's like I deliberately pick fights with him, you know, do what I know will drive him crazy." Jessy explained. "Babe I don't think you do it on purpose." Zac added. "Mom it's like I can't help myself." Jessy shared, hoping for answers. Diana asked question after question, ruling out physical reasons. "Oh so I'm a nut case huh? Great. Zac I'm sorry." Jessy pouted. "Sweetie you're not a nut case. Jessy there's a reason for everything. Now why would you want Zac mad at you?" Diana asked. "I don't Mom, I love Zac more than anything. Why would I want to make him mad at me." Jessy disagreed. "Jessy what about Chris's offer you turned down. Maybe you really didn't want to and so you want a reason to be mad a Zac." Walker asked. "You did say no without thinking about it. You didn't consider anything Jessy." Zac added. "Oh get real, like I could up and go to New York, LA, who knows where like that." Jessy argued clicking her fingers. "Why not babe. The band isn't doing anything until after Mandy's had the baby and is back on her feet. Shoot JT is two months old and Sis isn't ready to go back to work so Taylor wouldn't leaver her and the baby. We've got probably three or four months to work with here." Zac explained. "Do you want me to go? Zac I can't, I just can't." Jessy panicked. "There's that look. Jessy what is it? What terrifies you so?" Zac asked taking her in his arms. "Zac I couldn't leave Andy or you. I'd just die alone. I don't want to think about it. No. The answer is no. I can't be a star. I like being a Mom and a wife." Jessy answered laying her head on his shoulder, softly cry, whispering, "Please don't make me go." "Oh babe you don't have to leave me or Andy. Jessy we'd come with you. Man we haven't been apart since, since.." Zac stopped trying to figure out the answer. "Her surprise bridal shower in New York City." Walker answered for him. "Man before we got married. No wonder I panicked at the thought of leaving you." Jessy replied caressing his face. "But Zac I'm married and got a kid. I'm no Brittney, Christina, Jessica. Who's going to listen to a Mom?" Jessy asked. "You're saying everybody listens to them because they're single?" Walker asked. "You know what I mean, they're sexy, that's what sells their music." Jessy replied. "I think you're sexy." Zac teased rubbing her butt. "You have to or you don't get none. Zac I mean all the publicity hype, that's just not me." Jessy explained. "So you don't trust Chris anymore? Should I look for another rep for you?" Walker asked. "What? No way. Chris is the greatest." Jessy answered confused by his question. "Then trust him Jessy. He wouldn't steer you wrong. There is no way he would ask you to compete with them if he didn't cover all the angles, right?" Walker replied as Jessy drew extremely quiet. You could see all the questions in her eyes and then one by one she suddenly had the answers. "You okay with all this sweetie." Diana asked. "Mom do you think this is possible, it's this simple?" Jessie asked. "Yeah sweetie, it usually is right in front of your face. It all makes since now, you said ths started befor Christmas, the crying, the leaking, the Andy withdrawals, it all makes sense..." Diana answered being interrupted. "Makes perfect sense becase that's when you turned Chris down. Remember you laughed at him." Walker finished. "Zac I'm so sorry to put you through everything. Forgive me?" Jessy pleaded. "Babe there's nothing to forgive. Jessy you didn't do it on purpose. I just wish I'd thought of it sooner. If I wasn't so stubborn, thinking if I ignored it, everything was fine." Zac replied. "You definitely ignored it or told me nothing was wrong." Jessy shared as they gaze at each other. "Zac I love you so much." Jessy said throwing her arms around his neck kissing him deeply. "I know babe and I love you too." Zac said holding her tight, adding, "So you going to tell Chris or you want Dad to do it?" "If you don't mind Daddy, you did figure out I wanted to accept before I did." Jessy replied, adding, "Mom, Daddy thanks for understanding and helping." "Yeah. You two are the greatest." Zac added. "We told you two long ago we'd be here for you." Walker reminded. "Daddy will be so relieved, he's been so worried about his lil princess." Diana shared. "Oh my Grampa." Jessy sighed. "Hey what's up with Grampa, he called this morning to tell us he wasn't coming to breakfast not to worry. She suffers from Grampa withdrawals too." Zac asked. "I'm going to call him and make sure he's okay." Diana said heading out. "I'll go with you, I need to call Chris." Walker said joining her. "You're mine all mine." Zac teased kissing her all over. "Hey where you going?" Zac asked as she headed to the door. "Someplace really special." Jessy answered confusing him until she locked the door, adding, "And I'm going to take you with me." "You better. I don't want you going there with nobody else." Zac answered. "I don't think that's possible. Zac I can't imagine being closer to anyone like you. We're so, so, connected on so many levels. You're part of y soul Zac. I can't imagine anyone else touching my soul like you have. Even when you were Grampa's Jerky Grandson, you had this affect on me. Zac you're the best parts of me." Jessy shared kissing him deeply, setting their desires and passions free. They made love to each other as if they were newlyweds. "I can't breathe." Jessy gasped. "I've died and gone to heaven. You are definitely sexy." Zac gasped for air. "Ummm I'd rather we kept that to ourselves." Jessy teased. "Well if sex sells reords, you just went Platinum without singing a note." Zac teased back. "Whoa. I am definitely jealous." Chele said as the two rejoined the family. "Mum." Andy cried, taking a couple of steps before sitting down and crying. "What's the matter with Mommy's boy?" Jessy asked making her way to him, sitting in front of him on the floor. "Mum." Andy pouted. "Andy." Jessy replied caressing his face before kissing it. "Dada." Andy squealed as Zac joined them on the floor. "Andy's Daddy." Jessy squealed, caressing his face before kissing it. "Hey big guy." Zac said reaching for hiim pulling him to his chest. "Me too." Jessy said laying her head on Zac's chest, facing Andy. "Chris is hyped. Man he sounded the way he did when he first signed the guys. You made his day sweetie." Walker shared, adding, "He's faxing some songs. He said he knew you wanted to, so he got the rights to some songs he liked." That was the beginning of the next step in their lives.
