Day Has Come

Part Sixty

For the next two weeks Chele and Tay grew closer, their relationship flourishing just as Chele was. "Mom, Dad umm you know the two weeks are almost up and umm, I sort of was wondering, Zac do you think we could if they'd let us?" Jessy rattled on. "What are you wondering sweetie?" Diana asked taking Andy from her son. "We could what babe?" Zac asked reaching for her hand. "Zac, Mom, Daddy umm I'd like to stay longer if we can? I mean if it's not too much trouble." Jessy asked tentatively, fearing the answer. "Of course you can stay. Oh my precious baby, you're going to stay with Gramma and Grampa." Diana squealed kissing all over Andy causing him to squeal. "Zac please, I won't ask for anything else. Hun I really like this having a live in babysitter. Man with Jessie here to watch Andy, I've been able to spend more time with you. Zac I forgot how much fun.." Jessy stopped in mid-sentence unnerved by the look on Zac's face, finishing, "You think I'm a terrible Mom don't you. Wanting to leave my baby and all. How could I? What's wrong with me/" Her eyes filled with tears, as she backed away from him before racing down the hall and into their room. "Son why didn't you say something?" Walker asked. "Dad I was so shocked. I honestly thought she was going to announce we were headed home early not she wants to stay longer." Zac explained. "That's fine son but you just let your wife who was already doubting herself as a mother because of her desire to spend more time with you not her son think you feel the same way." Walker suggested. "What? No. Jessy baby I'm sorry. Jessy please forgive me." Zac hollered after her making his way to their room finding her in a heap on the bed, crying. "Oh baby I'm so sorry. Jessy I was shocked you wanted to stay, that was the look on my face and nothing else. I wouldn't judge you babe. I think you are the greatest Mom. Just look at Andy and youll know what a great Mom you are. Look at me baby. I'm sorry. Jessy I'm so flattered you want to spend more time with me. Please look at me? What have i done?" Zac pleaded finally laying next to her, moving closer and closer. "Babe look at me please?" Zac pleaded again. "Zac just drop it for now please. Just leave me alone." Jessy whimpered. "No Jessy. Talk to me babe, please?" Zac pleaded, adding, "Not for me, not for you, for Andy." "Zac that's not fair." Jessy answered. "Everythngs fair in love and war. I love you Jessy even though I made you declare war, I love you. I have from the day I laid eyes on you. I have through all the hot and cold wars." Zac explained as Jessy giggled. "Aahhh I see you remember the hot and cold wars. How about the she wants to whoop my ass war. I still make you feel that way don't I babe? I make you so mad you want to whoop my ass?" Zac asked. "Oh Zac. I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at me. Why do I do this? What's wrong with me lately Zac?" Jessy asked crying again. "Jessy there's nothing wrong with you. Why do you always think there's something wrong with you. Don't you feel good babe? Jessy there can't be anything wrong with you, I couldn't handle it. Okay Babe, there's nothing wrong." Zac shared, panic in his voice. "Zac it's okay like you said. Nothing's wrong. I'm just feeling sorry for myself I guess." Jessy explained after turning to face him. "Jessy I love you." Zac declared hugging her tight. "I know babe and I love you. I really do Zac and I love our life, our house, our baby, and I even love being here with your family. Zac is it okay that I want to stay here so I have help with Andy? Honest Zac I love being a Mom I wouldn't change it for anything but I love being your wife too." Jessy asked so unsure of herself. "Jessy I wasn't judging you. Wow you love being my wife." Zac exclaimed. "Oh Zac have I ignored you that much that you don't know how much I love you? I adore you, always have." Jessy shared caressing his face gazing deep into his warm brown eyes, finishing, "Always will." "Jessy I know you love me. You haven't ignored me. I mean sometimes I get jealous. That used to be my spot, you know cuddled in your arms and now I got to share it." Zac shared. "Nobody's there now." Jessy suggested as Zac smiled at her, laying his head on her chest as she wrapped him in her arms, caressing his hair, kissing the top of his head, "I love you Zac Hanson." she whispered as she felt him wrap his arms around her hugging tighter and tighter. "I give. I give. You're the best hugger." Jessy squealed as they both laughed. "I love the sound of your laugh." Zac said as he rolled them over, climbing on top of her, smiling down at her before kissing her passionately, then making love to her. Chele and Tay were thrilled with Jessy's desire to stay longer at the folks' allowing them to enjoy their time alone before becoming a family. Jessy and Zac represented the band, attending Award Shows, Premiers, and making the round of all the Talk Shows with Andy in tow. "I've watched the three of you these past weeks along with the rest of the world and I have to admit, you two have become great parents. I have to be honest, I could understand the wedding because you two are definitel meant to be together but when I heard you were expecting, my first thought was they're so young. You have proven me wrong and I so happy for you. You look so happy as a family." Rosie commented as they joined her after performing their new duet. "I know I am." Zac teased. "Leave it to the Drummer Boy huh?" Rosie teased back then they spoke of the new duet and it's conception, "I mean I blew it big time. If she didn't love me as much as she does, I'd still be in the dog house. Jessy has a soft spot where I'm concerned though." Zac explained. "No duh!! I mean I wouldn't have married so young, become a Mom so young if I wasn't totally head over heels in love with you." Jessy explained. "Yeah she is." Zac sighed leaning nearer and kissing her tenderly, adding, "So anyways I had really blown it, and after we worked through things and were back on track, I realized how special she really is and how lucky I am she's in my life so I put it down on paper to share with her. When she's done crying she says, "Hun that such a good beginning to a song," and we did just that." Zac explained as Jessy suddenly looked off stage. "Excuse me." she said rising and heading off stage. "Mom radar. Mush be Andy is awake. I swear she can sense him when she's fifty miles away." Zac explained. "Don't even have to have them physically for that radar to work." Rosie added as Jessy reappeared with Andy. "There's Daddy. Go tell him you fell down." Jessy suggested as she crouched down placing him on the floor, adding, "Can you show Daddy you can crawl. Crawl to Daddy?" "Hey big guy. What's up?" Zac asked extending his arms to him, adding, "Come to Daddy?" The audience was so quiet as he slowly moved towards Zac, stopped, looked back at Jessy, "Go tell Daddy what happened." At that point he looked at Zac and made his way, squealing "Dada" "Hey big guy, nice moves man." Zac said picking him up. "Oww." Andy said rubbing his forehead. "What's the matter big guy did you go boom?" Zac asked kissing where he had rubbed. "Dada." Andy squealed hugging him tight as he cried. "It's okay big guy, Daddy's got you." Zac said comforting him. "Somethings only a Daddy can do." Jessy said returning to her seat, leaning over and kissing both of her fellas. "Mum." Andy squealed. "That's Mommy." Zac said as Jessy leaned back over and kissed his boo boo. "All better in Daddy's arms?" she asked. "Mum, Dada." Andy said. "They tell me Gramma and Grampa Hanson are on the line. Let's see if this works. Hello?" Rosie asked. "Hellow Rosie, Walker Hanson and my wife Diana, we wanted to talk to Andy if we could?" Walker asked. "PaPa." Andy squealed looking around and Zac explained he was calling, "Me Papa" Andy asked looking at the speaker phone. "Hey Andy. How's Grampas boy? I saw you moving there, doing good my little man, doing good." Walker said while Andy jumped up and down in Zac's lap squealing "Papa. Me Papa." "I think he misses you Dad." Zac shared. "How's my baby boy?" Diana asked. "Mummum. Me Mummum." Andy said looking for her and crying when he didn't see her. "Oh sweetie I'm so sorry, Gramma's at home still. Are you coming home soon?" Diana asked as he still cried. "Babe I can't do anything for him." Zac shared as Jessy reached for him, pulling him to her chest, cuddling him, "We're going home baby. We're going back to Gramma and Grampa's where we belong." Jessy whispered as she hummed and slowly rocked him to sleep. "We didn't mean to make him cry sweetie, we just wanted him to know we were proud of him. I can't believe he's crawling already. He's growing up too fast." Diana shared. "Mom it's okay you called. We'll be home late tonight and he can crawl to you." Zac replied. "They'll be home soon mother, don't cry. We'll be waiting for you when you get in." Walker informed. "You better be Daddy. How's Sis and the baby doing?" Jessy asked. "They're here now visiting. Just a minute." Walker shared. "Hey sis. I can't believe he's crawling." Chele greeted. "Hey sis. How are you and the baby?" Jessy asked. "We're fine. I'm ready believe me I'm ready. Now if the baby only felt that way. I can't believe how Andy's grown and he's only been gone two days. Crawling." Chele sighed. "He started it last night but it was mostly backwards. I was chancing it doing it live, he could have easiy turned his butt to Daddy and backed in." Jessy suggested and everyone laughed, the audience a little to loud stirring the baby. "Hey big guy. Oh my Andy how I miss you." Chele said as Andy sat up looked around and stared at Jessy. "Did you hear Aunt Chele?" Jessy asked. "Me me." Andy squealed "Hey my big guy. Oh Andy you did so good. You crawl just like your Daddy" Chele teased. "Dada." Andy squealed looking at Zac. "Hey sis. So you're ready huh?" Zac asked picking up Andy who was reaching for him. "Definitely. It will be so nice to let Tay carry the baby and me watch." Chele shared. "Oh I remember those days. Hey that was like a week before she had the baby she kept telling me that. Remember babe?" Zac asked. "Yeah I do. I thought if the baby dropped anymore, my belly would be dragging on the floor." Jessy shared. "Tay did you hear. We're getting close." Chele asked excitedly. "Great baby. I know you're tired of being pregnant. Hopefully soon. Hey Sis, Zac, Andy how's my little dude? What's up boy?" Taylor asked. "Tata." Andy squealed looking at the speaker phone. "This is so precious. I can't believe he's so attentive." Rosie said. "Hey Rosie. How'd you like their song?" Taylor asked. "I cried. Great lyrics. Just a great song, it'll be a number one as soon as it's released. How's your wife? Expecting soon right?" Rosie asked and she and Taylor spoke for a while before Isaac and Mandy joined in. Zac, Jessy and Andy returned home that evening to stay with Zac's folks while Chele and Tay stayed in their house, and Isaac and Mandy stayed with Grampa. "Morning Princess." Grampa said entering the house. "Morning Daddy." Diana said as Jessy said, "Moring Grampa." "I was Princess first." Diana teased sticking out her toungue. "So he loves me." Jessy teased sticking out her tongue. "Duh!! I was his first Princess and he loved me first." Diana teased shaking a wooden spoon at her dripping batter everywhere. "Yeah but he has to love you. He loves me and doesn't have to." Jessy insisted shaking a banana at her. "I call your banana, and raise you a, a, piece of toast." Diana insisted tossing a piece of toast at her. "Mmmm peanut butter and banana." Jessy said reaching for the peanut butter, another slice of toast and prepared a sandwich. Before realizing what she was doing, Jessy had downed a large glass of milk and the sandwich. Andy's squeal made her remember she had gotten the banana for him, "Sorry big guy. Mommy get you another banana." Jessy said. "Let me babe. I promise I won't eat it like Mommy did." Zac teased getting him a banana, smashing it then sitting next to him, feeding it to him. "You okay babe?" Zac asked as Jessy sat on his lap. "Zac why'd I do that? Me, peanut butter and banana, yuck." Jessy asked laying her head on his shoulder. "I don't know babe. Maybe to tease Mom except she thinks it's pretty yucky too." Zac answered as Grampa finished feeding Andy. "You used to come to see me. Now you come to see Andy." Jessy pouted. "You used to come to see me.ow you come to see her and him." Diana pouted pointing at Jessy then Andy. "Mummum." Andy squealed at Diana. "You stole her away from me. She lived with me first." Grampa pouted and they all laughed. "Princess Chele." Grampa said making his way to her as she entered the house. "My Grampa." Chele squealed, hugging him before heading down the hall. "It's me sis, let me in. " Jessy called out, rapping on the door. "Yeah come in, it's not locked." Chele answered. Jessy entered finding her leaning against the wall, breathing deeply. "So how long you been having contractions?" she asked. "Oh about four hours now. They still aren't strong though. It's not like you." Chele answered. "Which time?" Jessy asked. "What do you mean?" Chele asked confused. "I did what you're doing maybe three, four times the day before I finally went into labor." Jessy explained. "You did? Oh thank goodness, I was afraid I was doing it wrong." Chele confessed as they heard a rap on the door. "Let me in girls." Diana asked. "Come in Mom, it's open." Chele replied. "So how far along are we?" Diana asked. "Man I've been trying so hard to keep this to myself. Is it written on my forehead?" Chele asked. "Yeah but only a woman can see it. The guys will never catch on." Diana answered, adding, "So what do you want to do to pass the time. The girls played Scrabble for hours, even while Jessy nursed Andy. "Zac? Hun could you take Andy and lay him down for me?" Jessy asked. "Man you guys have been playing forever." Zac complained lifting the baby after kissing her playfully. "Wait a mnute.:" Jessy squealed kissing him still as Chele moaned grabbing the table, "Jesus Jessy. Get a room." she quickly added. "Don't gotta. I married him." Jessy teased letting go of Zac, sending him on his way. "Getting strornger?" Diana asked giggling. "Earth moving I'd say." Jessy teased. Most definitely." Chele answered. The intensity of her contractions continued too increase, making it harder to conceal what they were doing. "I think Zac is catching on or is horny." Jessy suggested after Zac left her again. "Hmm, your husband catching on or horny? I say horny." Chele teased. "Who's horny?" Taylor asked entering the room as Chele started another contraction. "Oh boy." she moaned. "Oh no." Jessy moaned. "Busted." Diana moaned. "Not again." Chele moaned her eyes getting larger. "Again." Jessy moaned. "And again." Diana moaned low. "I say Mom wins." Jessy teased. "Me too. You're good." Chele added with a smile. "You three have been at this way too long." Taylor said shaking his head and leaving the room. "I have to go potty." Chele said making her way down the hall. "Ooohh Taylor." Chele screamed. "What? Babe where are you?" he asked entering the room as Jessy and his mother pointed down the hall. "Baby what?" he asked again entering the bathroom finding her in a pool of water, hanging onto the vanity. "Tay help me?" Chele moaned. "Relax and breathe babe. Remember nice and slow, in and out." Taylor said making it to her side, gently massaging her back slowly as she breathed in. "That's my girl, nice and slow, a deep breath." Taylor said as Jessy and Diana arrived. "I'll get her clean clothes." Jessy said turning and running into Zac. "I thought so." Zac said grabbing her. "Hun go get Sis's suitcase from their car for me." Jessy asked. "I didn't bring it. I didn't want him to know in case it wasn't for real." Chele whimpered. "Hun go get one of my maternity outfits out our closet." Jessy asked. "You brought maternity clothes with you?" Zac asked. "Duh!!! My sister is pregnanat, of course I brought maternity clothes. On the far left side, three or four of them. Get the red one, it'll make her feel better." Jessy explained. "Mom I'm sorry." Chele said looking at the mess. "Oh sweetie, this is wonderful, you're going to have my grandchild." Diana smiled kissing her cheek then her belly, adding, "Breathe nice a deep, slowly in, out." "You're right." Chele said quickly before beginning her breathing with Taylor's help. As it ended. "You didn't want me to know? Babe how long has this been going on?" Taylor asked. "Sorry to tell you babe, but someone already wrote that song." Chele teased as another contraction started. "Again? Babe that's not three minutes from the last one." Taylor observed. "That's your job. You keep track as she contracts." Jessy teased mopping the floor as Zac returned with clean clothes. "One of the perks big brother, you get to undress her." Jessy said as she finished the floor, handing the mop to Zac and pushing him out of the room. "Son where's her suitcase? Your father and I will pick it up on the way so you two can head to the hospital." Diana asked. "Thanks Mom, it's by the door in our room. I mean Sis and Zac's room." Chele answered as the next contraction began. "Mom." Chele moaned. "What sweetie? Breathe girl." Diana ordered. "Thanks for coming with me?" Chele shared as the contraction ended. "Oh you try and keep me away. That's my grand baby." Diana answered. "Jess stop pacing, they'll call." Zac insisted grabbing her and pulling her to him, "I'll take your mind off it." he said kissing her deeply as he caressed her butt pulling her into him. "Zac." Jessy moaned kissing him back passionately. In mid make out the phone finally rang, "It's a boy." Zac announced and they all cheered. "Mother and baby doing fine but Daddy's another story. He what?" Zac said and started laughing, finishing, "I'll tell them. See you Dad." "Zachary Hanson tell me. How big?" Jessy asked as he hung up the phone. "Oh that, umm, 9 pounds and 20 inches or so. Dad said Taylor almost fainted." Zac whispered. "Almost doesn't count. He was there, that's all that matters." Jessy answered as they prepared for the baby's home coming by moving back to their house, allowing Chele and Taylor to move in with the folks. "Wait, we didn't get to move in this shuffle." Isaac teased. "You're the only ones without a kid now so you're the only one who can live with Grampa." Jessy teased back as they moved in Chele and Taylor's things on the return trip. "So once Miss Mandy has her baby, I won't have any roommates?" Grampa asked entering the house. "My Grampa." Jessy squealed, racing to him. "Jessy he's my Grampa. Why you always screaming it when you see him?" Zac teased. "I gotta have some perks for marrying you." Jessy teased back, finishing, "Meet my perk, Chicken Boy." "Them there's fighting words." Zac said racing after her, chasing her through the house. "Oh look, it's snowing." Jessy squealed, adding, "Zac where's the baby?" "He's playing with Zoe, in her room." Zac answered racing up the stairs after him, returning and dressing for outdoors. They all joined them in the snow, trying to catch snowflakes on their tongues. "Look Andy." Zac said bringing him the first snowball, helping him throw it at Mommy as the war began. In the midst of the battle, "Sis" Jessy squealed noticing them in the back of the van. "My Grampa." Chele squealed as the door opened. "My Princess Chele. Such a handsome Prince." Grampa said leaning in to see the baby. "Grampa meet Jordan Thomas Hanson." Chele introduced. "He's beautiful Sis. Looks an awful lot like Taylor. " Jessy observed. "First time I looked at him, I had flashbacks." Diana shared. "We've moved you into the spare rooms." Zac shared. "What?" Chele asked. "Sis and I moved home, so you three could stay with the folks." Zac explained. "MumMum" Andy said reaching for Diana. "Oh Walker, I need a bigger house." Diana complained cuddling Andy, finishing, "They moved my baby out." "Yes dear." Walker answered as they welcomed home the newest addition to the Hanson family.
