Day Has Come

Part Fifty-four

The next week was a blur and before they knew it, Zac and Jessy's house was filled with a Matron of Honor, Bridesmaid, Attendants and Mothers of the Bride and Groom all having their hair and makeup down and dressing for the wedding. "Hello." Jessy answered the ringing phone. "Hey babe. How's my family doing?" Zac asked. "We miss you. I still can't believe you left without waking me to say goodbye." Jessy pouted. "Oh babe you were so tired, we were up so late for the rehersal. You needed your rest." Zac insisted. "Maybe but I think I need you more." Jessy pouted again, adding, "Zac come home." "Babe I'll see you soon at the church. How are you doing hun?" Zac asked again. "I was getting a little queasy so I opened my emergency kit like you said. I love you for that Zac. You're not even here and you're taking care of me." Jessy exclaimed. "That's what I'm supposed to do, take care of you so you can take care of the baby." Zac insisted. "Well, baby and I love you for taking such good care of us. Promise we will see each other soon. Zac I need you, it's a mad house here. I don't remember being this paranoid about our wedding. They're driving me crazy." Jessy shared. "Babe don't let it get to you, everything will work out fine. I love you Jessy, it'll be okay." Zac assured her. "I'm so glad you called me Zac, I really needed you but I know I'll be okay until we're together." Jessy said hanging up and with a renewed faith managed to get the younger girls dressed and ready and everyone else was almost dressed so she quickly dressed and headed to find her sister. "Come on Sis. The man of your dreams is probably dressed and waiting for you, let's not keep him waiting too long. He's busted butt pulling this wedding together. I just talked to Zac and he said they were about to head to the church." Jessy shared as she helped her into her wedding dress. "Eat your heart out Jordan Taylor Hanson. Sis you're beautiful. Let's load up and get you married." Jessy said holding her mink cape. "Whoa, perfect touch." Jessy exclaimed as they all loaded into limos and made their way to the church and soon the ceremony was underway uniting Taylor and Chele. After the ceremony they were whisked away to the reception in a horse and sleigh. From the reception Taylor and Chele honeymooned in Cancun, throwing the reporters off who had staked out Hawaii. Two weeks into the new year and a month to Isaac and Mandy's wedding, Taylor and Chele returned from their honeymoon and announced they were moving in with Grampa, since Grampa had planned to travel with Jessy's Gramma after Isaac and Mandy's wedding. For the next few weeks Grampa, Taylor and Chele moved in with Zac and Jessy while Grampa's house was being remodeled and when the semester ended, Mandy also moved in with Zac and Jessy. "Sweetie are you sure you want Mandy living with you also, she's more than welcome to stay with us." Diana asked as Jessy called Time Out and was suddenly surrounded by Zac, Grampa, Chele, Taylor and Mandy. "What you need babe. Come sit down." Zac suggested. "What were you doing Sis?" Chele asked. "Let's get you in the recliner with your feet up." Grampa insisted. "I'd like that Grampa. Taylor taste the sauce for me and Sis, I was waiting for the water to boil to cook the lasagna noodles. Man I think I'm having withdrawal pains. Did you bring Zoe with you Mom? Zac I miss lil ss, all of them and Mackie." Jessy pouted. "Mom how about joining us for dinner? What's Dad doing? Why don't you call and have him bring the kids in, I miss them too." Zac shared. "Me too Princess. As soon as I get Lil Princess tucked in here, I'm calling that husband of yours." Grampa insisted getting Jessy settled down, covering her with an afghan, kissing her forehead and lightly stroking her belly adding, "Both my babies rest." "Zac we'll need more salad. There's enough of everything but pull another box of noodles for Sis to cook and have Tay get the other two pans down. You remember how to put it together." Jessy asked cuddling under the afghan. "Yeah babe, I've helped you enough I think I can handle it. You two rest now, everything will be okay." Zac insisted kissing her then her belly. "I know it will be okay because you love me." Jessy sighed stroking his head as he talked to the baby before she drifted off to sleep. "I wouldn't believe it if I ddn't see it with my own eyes. She hates to nap, how did you, I mean anyone but Jessy." Diana said totally shocked. "Mom it's simple, before anyone moved in I made her promise me she'd take care of herself and the baby first and if that meant asking for help then that's what she'd have to do. We all promised her to be there for her and you can see, we all take it seriously. I'm not looking forward to Grampa's house being done. I don't think she can handle him leaving her, not even for her Gramma." Zac said heading his mother to the kitchen and they both pitched in. "I can see Mandy staying will be no problem." Diana admitted. "I'm off to the market for more salad fixings. We need anything else Princess Chele?" Grampa asked. "Nope Sis has just about everything covered. Hey why don't you see if they have that Italian Ice she loves so, strawberry is her favorite. That and the cookies we baked earlier will be a great dessert." Chele suggested as Grampa and Diana headed to the market and the others put the pans of lasagna together and put them in to bake as Isaac and Mandy returned from their doctor appointment for their marriage license. By the time Jessy woke the table was set, lasagna almost done and her house was filled with family. "Oh Zac my little sisters." Jessy squealed as she woke and was soon surrounded by the girls and Mackie. Once again their house was filled with family as Isaac and Mandy's wedding drew closer. The night of the reheresal was about all Mandy could take and in the middle of her sibilings complaining about Chele and Jessy being Matrons of Honor and Isaac trying to get her attention to answer Reverend Miller's question. "I give up. Do what you want, I can't take it anymore. I'm out of here." Mandy screamed. "Me too. You can be Maid of Honor or whatever you want. I've had it. This is about Sis not you.' Jessy screamed and marched off. "She's right this is Sis's big day not yours, you should be ashamed of yourselves." Chele chastised before chasing after Mandy and Jessy. "What was that?" Isaac asked. "I'm not sure but I think it was the female version of the Tulsa Trio." Taylor teased. "Man I'm not messing with them and I'm married to one of them." Zac said. "Wonder where they're going?" Grampa said. "Underaged and one pregnant, I don't think we have to worry too much." Walker suggested as everyone relaxed waiting for their return. "Mommy it's Jessy, Chele and Mandy." Avie announced. "Zac there's Jessy." Jessie called out pointing at the television. They gathered around the television for the local news report which caught the girls kicking up their heels at an opening for a new teen hangout. As the girls stormed out of the church, "Sis. Big Sis wait." Jessy called. "Oh God Jessy go back inside where it's warm." Mandy scolded. "In there with them, never. I love you Sis but your sisters suck. Big time. I don't think I've ever met anyone more self centered than your real sisters. No wonder you love me so." Jessy teased as Chele caught up with them. "They even make men seem so sensitive." she added. "Hey that's not nice girls." Ash complained. "Ashley. You can save us." Chele insisted and soon they were loaded into his car and they stopped by Jessy's place to change and made their way to the opening they had been invited to earlier. The girls performed 'Feel Like A Woman' sporting mini skirts, heels and the guys's white shirts with sleeves rolled and collars up. "Man she's sexy, my pregnant wife is sexy." Zac whispered to his brothers. "Your wife, look at mine. " Taylor replied. "I'm not going to have a wife if someone doesn't go get them and bring them back here." Isaac complained. "Let me go boys." Walker offered. "I'll go with you son." Grampa added and the two headed to the club retrieving the trio and returning to the church. "Babe I'm so sorry. I just couldn't take anymore of them." Mandy admitted racing to Isaac's arms for shelter. "It'll be okay babe. We've had a long talk and we are not going to have any more problems." Isaac assured as Mandy's sisters apologized as Isaac and their parents glared at them. "I'm sorry I got upset and left but we had such a good time kicking up our heels." Jessy giggled as Zac wrapped his arms around her. "Kicked up your heels? I'd say you kicked butt. Babe you rock pregnant too." Zac teased. "You're a married woman not some hot chick. Let me see that finger is my ring still there? How many phone numbers you collect?" Taylor teased. "Oh Taylor, I did no such thing. Man I am an old married woman, I never even thought to collect their numbers." Chele pouted. "Oh I was suppose to take the numbers?" Jessy said totally clueless. "Yeah sis, Tay says you collect them. I wonder how he knows that. Hey husband how many numbers you collected?" Chele asked. "Zac Hanson if you collected numbers, I'm going to cry." Jessy pouted. "What babe? Collect what nmbers? I wouldn't, not me babe I promise. Tay you're a cad." Zac answered turning on his brother. "Promise Zac. Man I'll be out to here during the summer and all those little bikini bodies will be after you and I'll be a, a, a cow." Jessy complained. "You will not be a cow Jessy. That's my baby you're carrying. You'll be the most beautiful thing, my baby, our baby growing inside you. God Jessy I love you so much." Zac confessed falling to his knees, hugging her tight. "Hun everyone is staring and everyone isn't privy to the news remember." Jessy reminded. "I don't care Jessy. Let them stare. I love you and the baby is all." Zac insisted. "Oh Zac we love you too." Jessy replied as they finished the rehersal and headed to the rehersal dinner where the girls repeated their performance. The next day turned out perfect, perfect weather, perfect ceremony and even perfect behavior from Mandy's sister. Later that evening as reporters covered the airports in Hawaii and Cancun, Isaac and Mandy headed to the Carribean for two weeks. When they returned, the two moved in with Chele and Taylor while Grampa stayed with Zac and Jessy which thrilled Jessy to no end. As she began her second trimester, the queasiness ceased and she began to feel better just in time as the promotional tour began with stops on all of the talk show circuit as she began to develop quite a pot belly. "Zac help. I can't get my pants buttoned." Jessy complained entering the boys' dressing room, "Oops. Sorry Tay but look." Jessy complained again lifting her shirt showing her unbuttoned and partially unzipped predicament as all three started to laugh. "Babe we're sorry. Please Jessy don't cry." Zac apologized as he noticed the change in the expression on her face. "Sis we're sorry. Jessy you look so cute." Taylor exclaimed. "Sis we're terrible. Shame on us." Isaac added. "Babe let me take a picture so I can show the baby some day. You're so beautiful babe, You're such a great Mommy already." Zac insisted as he took her in his arms. "Zac Hanson you are so full of it. Tell me how my pants not buttoning makes me a great Mommy allready?" Jessy asked. "Babe you could have laid down and buttoned and zipped your jeans and smashed the baby for vanity's sake but not you. Jessy there is no way you'd jeopardize the baby. Admit it, I'm right." Zac insisted. "Yeah, you're right. Zac?"Jessy admitted and asked. "What babe?" Zac replied. "Will you buy me bigger pants?" Jessy pleaded laying her head on his shoulder. "Of course babe. Want to go shopping when we finish the show?" Zac asked as he reached for one of his white shirts. "Here babe, Turn around guys." Zac ordered as he helped her off with her blouse and on with his shirt, turning up the collar and rollng up the sleeves. "How about this?" Zac asked turning her around to face his brothers. "Great idea." Taylor said as he grabbed one of his shirts for Chele and Isaac grabbed one for Mandy and headed to their dressing room. "Thanks for loving me, us. Zac what would I do without you. Zac promise me? Jessy said as she began to panic. "Babe what? Jessy calm down it's okay. Everything will be okay." he soothed her fears. "Oh Zac. Promise you'll never leave me. I'd die without you in my life." Jessy insisted panicking more. "Babe you don't need my promise for something that ain't never gonna happen. Babe you know I'm gonna love you forever and that was before this." Zac insisted and began stroking her belly, adding, "I totally adore you for this. I didn't believe it was possible to love you more, but when I watch you grow with our baby inside you." Zac gasped falling to his knees, kissing her belly over and over before he began to talk to the baby. As Jessy stroked his hair, the others entered with Chele and Mandy dressed like Jessy, avoiding suspicion that Jessy was pregnant. "Cute get ups girls." Jay Leno teased. "There is nothing like wearing your man's shirt. Such a sexy feeling." Jessy said taking a deep breath, adding, "To be surround by the scent of him." "It's a big turn on." Chele insisted wrapping her arms around herself and inhaling. "Yeah there is nothing like getting dressed and having your wife steal your shirt." Taylor teased. "Hey I offered you my blouse in exchange." Chele teased back and the audience roared. As promised, Zac took her shopping for bigger pants the next day, finding her matternity jeans with elastic gussets to make room for her growing belly but keeping the tight fitting jeans look. For the balance of the promotional tour, the girls wore their man's shirt look, starting a nationwide fad of women in men's shirts. They girls made serious money doing advertising for a major men's shirt manufacturer who added a red lipped logo on the tail of their men's shirt for the ladies line. At about six months the did the photo shoot, with the girls in shirts and sexy lingerie only in front of a wind machine blowing their hair and shirts. "Man. I didn't realize." Zac gasped at the shot the girls had selected and shared with them. As he sat back down quickly just staring at the photo. "I'm sorry Zac, I'll tell them I changed my mind. I have final say, Chris made sure." Jessy said lowering her eyes to the floor almost in tears as she reached for a phone, dialing, "Daddy, I need help getting out of the shirt ad. Zac doesn't like it." "What's the matter sweetie?" Walker asked. "Daddy, I think he's embarassed. He's just staring at it not saying anything." Jessy answered fighting back the tears. "Why don't I come over sweetie and see what I can do, then I'll call Chris about it." Walker offered and as Jessy hung up she raced to their room, flinging herself across the bed crying herself to sleep. She woke over an hour later to Zac watching her sleep, sitting on the edge of their bed. "Jessy I wasn't embarassed by the picture babe, I was turned on. I guess I never realized how incredibly beautiful you are until I looked at that photo. I panicked babe, thinking of all the men who would look at that and desire you the way I do." Zac explained kissing her deeply. "What? You like it!" Jessy replied totally confused. "Yeah, I like it alot. I think all three of you look so sexy in the shoot, but you babe, you just blow me way. I can't believe someone that beautiful is married to me." Zac answered kissing her longer and harder setting his desires free, as he slowly undressed and made love to her. The group headed out on a short tour as the promos ended and so did Jessy's second trimester and her secret. "Sexiest Hanson Pregnant" the headline read on the majority of the tattle tale newspapers with a photo someone had taken of the family at a private beach, showing Jessy wearing a bikini, wrapped in Zac's arms, as he stroked her belly. This was soon followed with "Pregnant Is Sexy" stories of the hottest selling poster and pics of the girls shirt ads taken while Jessy was almost five months pregnant. The group headed to Tulsa for the last of the concerts during the fourth of July celebration as Jessy became increeasingly uncomfortable. "Give me a break, I'm eight months pregnant." Jessy complained at the sound check before breaking down crying. "Time out." Walker ordered as Zac ripped into the sound booth for making her cry. "Come on babe. Let's go lay down." Zac suggested, leading her off the stage, heading for the dressing rooms. "I want to go home." Jessy choked out as she sniffled. "Let's relax first and then if you still want to go home, we'll call it quits." Zac offered as he lead her to the couch, sitting down , pulling her to his lap. They cuddled until Jessy fell asleep in his arms and when she awoke, they finished sound checks. The last concert was a huge success and they all settled down awaiting the birth of Zac and Jessy's first child.
