Day Has Come

Part Forty-six

Next morning Jessy woke, alone, just staring at the phone wishing it to ring, "Zac?" Jessy asked desperately. "Yeah babe." Zac answered. "Oh Zac." Jessy started to cry, "I miss you." "I miss you too babe. I'm on my way." Zac answered. "Oh I feel like a spoiled brat. I can't stand to be separated from you and cry when I am to make you come running to me." Jessy confessed. "Zac, I feel so alone. I wish she would have stayed a little while. I hardly even got to see her except from stage." Jessy shared. "I think I spent more time with her than you got too." Zac suggested. "Between you and Sis I didn't think I'd ever get her attention." Jessy teased. "I really like my new Momma." Zac said. "Oh yeah, well she was my Momma first and don't forget it." Jessy teased. "But my Mom loves you best?" Zac wondered. "So, she has reason too. I'm precious." Jessy said and burst into laughter. "I'm so funny I crack myself up." Jessy said through her giggles. "Babe I think you need more sleep." Zac expressed. "Probably but I can't, I just toss and turn Zac. Zac? Would you come in and lay down with me? Maybe I could sleep if you laid with me?" Jessy asked. "I'm on my way babe, wait no Grampa is coming out this morning, he and Mom are going to that thing, that.." Zac was explaining. "Already! Man Zac are the announcements back yet, we've got to get them in the mail. I guess I better call the printer." Jessy worried. "No you get dressed, get sis off to work and come with Grampa and spend the day here with me while Mom and Grampa are out. I'll call the printer before you get here. Promise me Jessy, you take care of you." Zac asked. "Yes Zac. I sure am glad you were the one I was meant to love. You're so good to me." Jessy answered. With Chele off to work, Jessy gave the house a good once over while she baked cookies then showered, dressed and she and Grampa headed out. "Essy, Essy. PaPa. Me cookies, Me cookies." Zoe called. "Well, we see where we rate." Grampa teased. "It's the cookie monster." Jessy teased chasing after Zoe. "Oohhh Mommy looks pretty." Jessy stopped looking at Diana on the stairs. "Mumee preddy." Zoe squealed racing to her. "Morning girls, thank you. Oh baby you still look tired. Promise me you'll try to lay down. Zachary." Diana called after caressing Jessy's face. "Yeah Mom. Hey Babe, I didn't hear you two. Morning Grampa." Zac said making his way to Jessy kissing her deeply, again and again wrapping his arms around her holding her close. "You looked tired babe." Zac declared. "Huh, you didn't look rude but you are." Jessy said pushing away from him. "Jessy I didn't mean it like that." Zac said chasing after her trying to wrap his arms back around her finally picking her up in his arms, sitting down on the couch. They watched them argue, make up, "He'll take care of her dear. Look she's almost asleep in his arms. Let's go my Princess." Grampa said taking Diana's hand and heading out the door as Isaac and Taylor came up from the game room, Jessie and Avie came from the office pleading with Walker to be able to do something, and Mackie came down the stairs declaring he was hungry. "Sssh all of you." Walker ordered. "Son why don't you take her upstairs." Walker whispered noticing Jessy stir in his arms. Zac rose and headed up the stairs, opened the door to his room, making his way to his bed, pulling back the covers before sitting down. He removed Jessy's sweater tossing it on the foot of the bed and unzipped her dress, lifted her slightly trying to pull her dress out from under her. As his hand caressed her leg then her butt before pulling her dress out from under her, Jessy woke. "Hey I'm missing all the fun." Jessy whispered wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply. "Zac, I'm sorry for calling you rude. I know you were concerned and I do look tired. Mom had just told me the same thing but I didn't snap her head off. I, I.." Jessy said until Zac pressed his lips to hers. "I, I love you." Jessy whispered into their kiss. They sat gazing into each other's eyes for the longest time before Jessy rose letting her dress slip to the floor then stepped out of it. She grabbed the bottom of Zac's tee shirt and pulled it up over his head, tossing it on top of her dress before dropping to her knees in front of him removing his shoes and socks. Jessy leaned towards him placing her hands on the waist of his jeans, looking into his eyes as she unbuttoned and unzipped his jeans. Zac lifted her to him as he rose before picking her up in his arms turning and gently placing her in his bed. Zac pushed his jeans and boxers to the floor, stepping out of them and crawling into bed making his way on top of Jessy, kissing her deeply their passions quickly intensifying. "Don't ask. No matter how much I want you or you want me, I won't." Zac said before things went any further. "I know and no matter how much I truly do need you or you need me. We can't until we're married." Jessy replied. "Who are you and what did you do with Jessy?" Zac asked. "Oh hun, I'm so sorry about New York. All the gazillion times I came onto you and you lovingly told me no and then I go and create such a stink the one time you come on to me. Zac how do you put up with me?" Jessy needed to know. "Oh babe it's just I love you so much. I love you and you." Zac said kissing her breasts. "I just love all of you." Zac said kissing her deeply over and over. "Babe, can you try to go to sleep for me." Zac asked rolling them over, stroking her hair as she cuddled on his chest, listening to his heart beating as she drifted off to sleep. A few minutes later Taylor snuck in to inform Zac the printer called and the order was ready and that he and Ike were picking it up and having lunch with Chele and Dad was taking the kids to the zoo. Mid afternoon, Jessy finally woke because she was hungry. They got up, dressed and made their way downstairs to the family spread around the table addressing their wedding announcements and the younger ones, stuffing envelopes. "My little Princes looks rested. Thanks Zac." Grampa said. "You do look better sweetie." Walker said. "You guys are the greatest." Jessy said hugging her way around the table. Jessy made dinner while everyone else addressed and stuffed wedding announcements. "Done." Zac announced. "Yeah hun, dinner is done." Jessy said. "No babe, we're done. All addressed and ready for the post office. Dad and I are taking them in and get them on their way." Zac said as the guys loaded the boxes into the van. "Wow that's a lot. I didn't know we were telling the whole world." Jessy teased. "Have to babe. Everybody has to know I love you more than anything. When I get back, man I forgot to tell you, you were so busy being Miss Tulsa, MOE went in the mail last Thursday or Friday, so when I get back we can go online and start sending out announcements too." Zac shared. "I definitely have to marry you now huh?" Jessy teased. "Yeah babe, the whole world knows, so now you have to marry me. We ought to send Rosie hers first so she's ready for tomorrow's show. Let's do it now, okay Dad?" Zac asked. "Good idea son, do you mind if I talk to her though?" Walker asked. "Hun I have to finish in the kitchen why don't you and Dad take care of Rosie and then I can go to the post office with you guys." Jessy suggested as Chele came in after work. "Hey Isaac, Tay and I are headed to the post office. They said to tell you to get on line and be done by the time we get back or else. Don't look at me that way, I'm just the messenger." Chele teased as Jessy shrugged her shoulders and headed to answer the ringing phone. "Hanson Residence." Jessy answered. "Rosie here and put me down for three, I'm bringing the kids. Oh and Zac said to tell you that we're announcing the wedding tomorrow on the show. I'm sharing in my monologue so I need a blank invitation to hold and a copy of MOE and I'm supposed to tell you that he loves you." Rosie finally finished and giggled. "I'm glad you're bringing the kids. I promise lots of things to keep them happy and occupied." Jessy answered and they chatted for a half hour or so and ended, only to see each other in the morning. Jessy grabbed drinks for the three of them and headed into the office, informed them what Chele had shared and they got busy setting up mass mailings of the announcements to be sent tomorrow an hour before Rosie aired on the West Coast. They finished as the trio returned from the post office. Over dinner they planned their Rosie appearance and were discussing the lineup Chris had planned so far, as Mandy showed up. "Baby, what are you doing here? Don't get me wrong I'm thrilled you're here but why?" Isaac asked. "My boss told me to get my butt over here now or I'm fired. Can you believe that slave driver?" Mandy answered. "Why is you boss sending you here?" Isaac asked confused. "I don't know either, why don't you ask her?" Mandy said pointing at Jessy and everyone stared except Walker who was looking at the ceiling just like Jessy. "Hey I figure I got to go to New York City you got to go and you too. What if she asks me something only you know." Jessy shared, adding, "I know how will it look us traveling alone. Well don't worry Grampa agreed to go because Gramma is going." "Way to go Grampa!" Zac chuckled. "Daddy!" Diana exclaimed. "Oh what are you thinking. Boys in one suite, girls in another." Grampa insisted adding, "We better head home girls. Mandy why don't you leave your car here and ride home with Chele. What time you picking us up Walker?" "Chris said 6am, picking up Norma at 6:30am and arriving New York 8am and Chris will meet you." Walker said as the girls headed home with Grampa. As Jessy tossed and turned, the phone rang. Grabbing it on the first ring, "Lawyer residence." she answered. "Hey babe, thought I'd find you awake, tossing and turning." Zac shared. "Zac what am I going to do? I've got more than two months to go before I marry you and if I don't sleep between now and them, I'll sleep through our first six months as man and wife." Jessy whined. "Baby stop worrying. Jessy you only worry about you. You let me worry about everything else." Zac insisted. "Zac that's not fair to you. By the time it's November you won't want to marry me anymore, you'll be so tired of taking care of me and everything else." Jessy suggested. "Never going to happen. I love you too much and I love to feel you needing me for something other than my body." Zac teased. "You're funny too." Jessy shared laughing. "Hey that's my body you're laughing at." Zac complained. "No it's not, that's my body, you just get to carrying it around for me. Don't you know you do everything for me?" Jessy teased. "No not everything, not until our wedding night." Zac teased back and they both roared. Jessy laughed so hard she rolled right off the bed. "Jesus Jessy what was that?" Zac asked. "I fell out of bed." she answered still laughing. "Sis, sis you okay?" Chele said. "Jessy hold still let me see if you're okay? God what's so funny? Must be Zac on the phone." Mandy said pointing to the phone. "Zac?" Chele asked. "Yeah sis, is she okay?" Zac asked. "Mandy's checking her out." Chele informed as Jessy squealed she had to pee, now. Mandy pulled her to her feet and off she raced. "She's okay, she racing to the bathroom. Now what was so funny?" Chele insisted to know. "Nothing really, just talking about us and we started teasing each other." Zac answered. "Well you won. You dumped her on the floor and she was still laughing." Chele shared as Jessy returned jumping on the bed next to her. "You talking to my boyfriend? You got your own to talk to, I want mine back." Jessy pouted. "Hey Zac, is Tay still awake?" Chele asked. "Yeah want him to call, oh we got the line. I know my cell phone is in Jessy's purse, Tay will call you on that and give Mandy Jessy's cell and Ike can call her too." Zac suggested. "Jessy where's your purse, I want Zac's cell and Mandy needs yours." Chele asked as Jessy's purse started ringing and Jessy pointed. "Hun tell the guys to hang on their trying to retrieve the right phone and they're both blonde." Jessy answered. "Don't start again woman. Babe you okay? Didn't hit your head or nothing?" Zac asked concerned. "Man Zac I hit so hard I cracked my ass." Jessy chuckled. "Babe you butt. That was already there." Zac laughed. "Man am I relieved." Jessy sighed. "Babe why don't you get snuggled in and I'll talk you to sleep." Zac offered. "Tell me the story about the Drummer Boy and his Princess, please?" Jessy asked and Zac talked to her until she fell fast asleep. "Tay, have Chele go hang up the phone for Jessy. I'm going to sleep too." Zac informed.
