"Mom, Dad" Isaac called. "Son you're early, I thought you said after Chele got home?" Mom said walking to Mandy, "Mandy I'm so glad he brought you early so we can get to know each other." Mom said. "Hey Mommy, Daddy." Jessy said hugging and kissing each of them. "We're early so Mandy can hear Jessy's song." Isaac explained. "Jessy sing me your song." Mandy asked. "Umm sure, we need to bring in the drums and we can do it here instead of going out to the studio." Jessy answered as they headed to the garage for the smaller drum set stored out there. Isaac got his guitar and Tay sat at the piano waiting for Zac. Jessy grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge as the kids came after her. "Okay what's up with the leg hugging you two? My legs aren't cold." Jessy asked as Mackie and Zoe sat on her feet and hung on. "We aren't getting very far this way" she said dragging her leg with Mackie on it. She bent down and tickled him until he let her free and she took a step, dragged Zoe, took a step, dragged Zoe, slowly making her way back to the group as Zac finished setting up the drums. "So what we going to play?" he asked. "I want to hear Jessy's song she's going to sing." Mandy said and Zac counted off and the guys started as Jessy sang, "You tell me you're in love with me. You can't tak your pretty eyes away from me. It's not that I don't want to stay. But every time you get too close I look away. I want to Believe in everything that you say. Because it sounds so good. But if you really want to make foolish love. There are things about me, you just have to know. Sometimes I run. Sometimes I hide. Sometimes I'm scared of you. But all I really want is to hold you tight. Treat you right. Be with you day and night. Baby all I need is time. I don't want to be so shy Everytime that I'm alone I wonder why Hoping that you will wait for me. You'll see that your the only for me. I want to Believe in everything that you say. Because it sounds so good. But if you really want to do things right. There are things about me, you just have to know. Sometimes I run. Sometimes I hide. Sometimes I'm scared of you. But all I really want is to hold you tight. Treat you right. Be with you day and night. Baby all I need is time. I just hang around and you'll see there's nowhere I'd rather be. If you love me just admit. You trust me. The way that I trust in you. Baby all I need is time." Daddy had dialed Chris up so he could hear what he had created. "Man Walker I had no idea she was this good. How do the boys feel about her singing with them or should I get her a back band of her own?" Chris said. "I'm afraid you'd lose the boys with a stunt like that, Jessy is their family Chris. She's right where she belongs." Walker said and the boys agreed loudly that Jessy is where she belongs. "Jessy don't cry, babe you know we feel that way." Zac said making his way to her. "I was just thinking you're being so nice to me and in about a half hour, us girls are going to make you look like living rainbows. Nothing personal but we're going to whoop your butts at Kersplatt." Jessy said walking to Mandy and Chele for a group hug. "It's okay lil sis, somethings are just meant to be and we are soooooo meant to whip them big time." Mandy teased. "Face it sis, as much as you love them, you have to murderlize them at Kersplatt. I can't wait to see them in the kitchen." Chele teased. Walker put Chris on speaker phone and the guys talked duets and Jessy headlining the next tour. Overwhelmed by it all, Jessy headed into the family room. "Hey rugrats." she said as Zoe and Mackie hugged her legs, tumbling her over. "Ouch. Zac help I'm out numbered." Jessy squealed as Jessie and Avie joined in and they all piled on. "Let me on there" Zac said as they moved aside and he sprawled across Jessy and they hopped on him. "Better?" he asked. "Yeah, I'd rather having you laying on top of me anyday." she said kissing him. "Ewww she kissed him." Mackie said. "I'll kiss you too." Jessy said grabbing his face and reaching to kiss him. "I didn't do nothing. She kissed me." Mackie answered Zac's glare. "She's your girl." Mackie said. "That she is." Zac said kissing her deeply. "Break guys. The bottom of the pile has to go to the bathroom suddenly." Jessy said with a puzzled look in her eyes. "What's wrong hun?" Zac asked. "I think I just started my period. I need to get up." Jessy explained. Zac cleared the pile and helped her to her feet and walked her to the bathroom as she grabbed her purse off the counter. As she finished in the bathroom, she opened the door to find Zac still standing there, "Good come on in." she said grabbing his hand and pulling him to her, closing the door behind him. "Help me figure this out she said handing him the pharmacy bag from her purse. "Sure." he said opening the bag pulling out one of the six boxes. He opened the box and pulled out the plastic container, reading the instructions. "It's pretty simple hun, if you started your period then we start with this row of pills and continue until the box is empty. Then we start another box. It says to take each pill about the same time each day so we should find a convenient time." Zac explained as Jessy looked at his watch. "Mornings are always so unpredictable and so are evenings. Two in the afternoon sounds convenient." Jessy said filling a glass with water and extending her hand and Zac popped out the first pill and she swallowed it washing in down with the water. "Wow so simple." she said. "Yeah that little pill does all that." Zac said closing up the bag, "I'll put this in my dresser drawer." he said. "Okay and I'll keep these in my purse." she said putting them in the plain box and slipping them inside her purse. They made their way back to the family and Zac ran upstairs with the bag. "Mom, Dad we're leaving now. We'll see you tomorrow." Isaac said as he and Mandy, Taylor and Chele, and finally Zac and Jessy hugged and kissed everyone goodbye and they loaded into the van and headed out for their night on the town. "You're quiet hun. You okay?" Zac whispered. "I'm okay just thrown by your brothers declaration of Jessy is where she belongs is all Zac." Jessy said hiding her face in his lap as she laid down. "Jessy you okay?" Chele asked looking over the seat at her laying in Zac's lap. Zac whispered in her ear and Chele sat back. "What's the matter?" Taylor asked. "That time of month and she's on an emotional roller coaster over something you and Isaac said to Chris." Chele whispered. "Oh that, she seemed to be okay with it when we said it." Taylor replied. "What did you say?" she asked. "Just that Jessy belongs with Hanson as far as her singing career is all." Taylor said. "You did, really. Oh Taylor." Chele cried hiding her face in her hands. "Baby don't cry." Taylor said. "I can't believe you two said that, it's so nice of you is all." Chele sobbed resting her head in his lap and laying down on the seat. "Now what?" Isaac asked. Zac and Tay shrugged their shoulders as Jessy's and Chele's hand rose above the seat and waved at Isaac. "Women." he mumbled. "Yes we are dear. Totally unpredictable and you love every minute of it." Mandy said leaning over at the stop light and kissing him deeply. "I do love every minute of it." he moaned softly. "It's time to drive hun." Mandy said sitting back up. "Oh yeah." Isaac mumbled. "Isaac, Zac can drive, I don't mind. Then you and Mandy can be together." Jessy said. "Sure you don't mind?" Isaac asked. "Of course I don't mind. Zac and I can be together everyday and you two can't." Jessy said sitting up and looking into the rearview mirror at his eyes. "You don't mind do you hun?" Jessy asked. "Of course I don't mind hun, but do you understand why they said what they did? You just proved why again, you're thinking about Isaac and Mandy." Zac said kissing her sweetly. "I guess." Jessy said leaning her head on his shoulder as Isaac pulled into the next parking lot and the four traded places. Zac pulled out and they were once again on their way downtown to try out the new Mexican restaurant in town. Zac pulled into the parking lot, "Not too busy. Everbody hungry?" Zac asked. "I sure am. Let's go get a table." Jessy said noticing Isaac and Mandy, and Tay and Chele making out. "Yeah it's getting too warm in here." Zac said making his way around the van and opening the door for Jessy. She slid down into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I get the feeling they would all rather skip the evening and head directly to Grampa's." Jessy said. "We could you know." Zac said. "Hun I don't care, as long as I'm with you." Jessy said. "Let's go eat and see if they come in." he said grabbing her purse for her and closing the door. They made their way inside and took a table for six. "Jessy do you want to order to go, it's not looking to good out there." Zac nodded at the window. "Oh my. I see or I don't see." Jessy giggled at nothing visible in the van. When she looked back at Zac she could see the question in his mind as he stared out of the window. "Zac it's okay." Jessy said touching his hand, stroking it. "Is it?" Zac asked lowering his head as if ashamed. "I'll be right back." Jessy said rising and kissing him and heading out the door and to the van. She opened her door slid in and shut it. "I came to let you know that Zac is ashamed of your behavior and now that I've thought about it, so am I." Jessy said as Isaac and Taylor both sat up. "We're in a public place and you're Hanson." Jessy said. "So what?" Isaac said. "If that's how you truly feel, I guess I misjudged you. I'll go tell him to order to go. That way we get back to Grampa's where only Zac and I have to be subjected to this." Jessy said leaving the van and heading back inside to Zac. "Let's order to go. I told them we'd get them home so that we would be the only ones having to put up with their beavior." Jessy said sitting back down. "Not much throws you huh?" Zac asked as he kissed her tenderly. "You hurting does." Jessy said lost in his eyes. "Whoa. You must have made a difference. Here they come looking proper if I may say so." Zac said. "I'm going to the bathroom where's my purse?" Jessy asked heading across the room as Chele and Mandy joined her. "Sis the guys are sorry and so are we." Chele said. "Jessy I thought you understood, you did offer to have Zac drive so we could be together." Mandy asked. "You can be together without having sex, believe me I know. Go listen to one of Zac's 'Wait for the Wedding Night' lectures if you don't believe me." Jessy said sarcastically and they all burst into laughter. "Man I don't think there's a problem." Taylor said returning to the table, finishing. "Ther're cracking up in the bathroom." The girls returned to the table, "You were right lil sis and I'm sorry. There is a time and place for it." Isaac apologized. "God I hope so, Zac keeps telling me that. I just haven't showed up in the right place at the right time yet." Jessy said straight faced shocking Taylor who had just taken a drink of water and spit it on Isaac. "That's our strategy girls, have them turn on each other and Kersplatt, we win." Jessy giggled as Zac laughed is way out of his seat and onto the floor. "There goes another one. That leaves just you baby." Chele said pointing at Zac disappearing under the table. "Let me, let me." Mandy squealed as she grabbed the lemon in her iced tea and squeezed sending a stream towards Taylor, landing in his opened mouth, creating some really scary faces. "Now if you're trying to scare us into surrendering, it's working, NOT." Jessy teased getting Zac's attention so he didn't miss Taylor faces. As Tay made faces and the other two laughed, the girls took their seats acting prim and proper and totally embarassed by the guys action. "Please forgive them, lack of food affects them." Chele explained as the waitress brought their order. After eating the headed to Kersplatt.
