Day Has Come

Part Thirty-seven

The meeting went well. The reporters were impressed with the entire family, and committed themselves to making a difference in the type of news they reported at least. They left in love with Death by Chocolate cake and the entire Hanson extended family. "Zac you take Jessy and go rest, she's had a busy day." Mom said. "But Mom.." Jessy protested as Zac said, "No more buts about it, Mom's right you were up early and had a hectic day. Come on you need some rest." "Jessy go rest. It looks like you have dinner pretty much taken care of, the kids are happier than they have been in a long time, the house is spotless. God what would I do without you." Mom said hugging her tight. "Mom we already went over this, I'm not going anywhere, you won't ever have to find out." Jessy whispered. "Just know I love you and appreciate everything you do for us because you love us." Mom said kissing each cheek. "I know Mommy, I know." Jessy said as Zac took her hand and led her upstairs. "Zac I don't need a nap." she complained. "No maybe not, but you do need me to hold you and that's what I'm going to do." Zac declared. "Ummm that sounds good." Jessy said catching up to him resting her head on his shoulder as he led her into his room, shutting and locking the door. "You locked it?" Jessy questioned his action. "Yeah I did." he said. "Why?" she asked as he led her to his bed, bending to untie his shoes and kicking them off. "Hands up." he ordered. "What? Is this a stick up?" she teased lifting her arms as he pulled her top up over her head. "Yeah gimme your clothes lady." he teased. "You'll have to take them if you want them." she answered. "So be it." he said unbuttoning and unzipping her jeans, sliding them off her hips and down to mid-calf. He bent lifted a leg and slid her jeans off of it. As he turned to lift the other leg he buried his face in her belly, kissing her over and over lowering his head with each kiss. "Oohhh" she moaned in anticipation as he lifted her leg and removed her jeans. Zac raised his hands and gently pulled her panties kissing her again and again, lowering his face with each kiss. He lifted each foot and placed her panties on top of her jeans. He rose pressing his lips to hers, kissing her softly as his hands undid the clasp of her bra, pulling it setting her breasts free. He placed her bra on top of her other clothes and cupped each breast with a hand as Jessy tore at his tee-shirt trying to pull it from his jeans. "Someone is impatient." Zac said undoing his jeans setting his shirt free and she pulled it up over his head tossing it on top of her clothes. She immediately ran her hands over his chest, teasing his nipples, as he lowered his jeans, then his boxers to the floor. He reached behind her and pulled the covers back then lifted her gently and placed her on his bed and carefully crawled in after. "No I want you to lay on me. Like we did before, please. Just hold me like you loved me." Jessy pleaded pulling him to her, sliding a leg under him then pulling him between hers. "No Jessy I can't." he protested. "Please Zac I promise I'll lie still. Please just hold me as if you had made love to me please." she begged, adding, "Just try. I'll understand if you can't, honest I will." "This isn't going to be easy, I want you so much." Zac said lowering himself onto her. She whimpered as their bodies met and he pulled back. "No I'm okay it's just I want you so much it hurts, not that your weight hurt me, honest Zac." she explained pulling him back to her pressing her lips to his, kissing him deeply as she wrapped her legs around him. "You okay?" he whispered his eyes searching hers. "Yeah thanks for doing this for me, Zac." she said lost in his warm brown eyes. The held each other, talking over everything that had happened and how she felt. "I can't help crying Zac, I had to beg you to get this close to me and they have me pregnant every single time they've met me." Jessy cried. "I know Jessy, let it out." he said comforting her. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to cry. Yes I do it hurts, why do they always question me? Why?" she cried. "Jessy it was because they didn't know you, now they do. They won't question you again now that they know you. It will be all right you wait and see." he said kissing her tenderly, rolling them to their sides and holding her to him. She buried her face in his chest, listening to his heart beating as she relaxed and fell to sleep. "No you don't need a nap." he teased kissing the top of her head., holding her gently as she slept. Almost two hours later she stirred, "Zac have you been awake all this time?" she asked. "Yeah babe, just lying here holding you and dreaming of our life together. You know you're going to be star." he said. "Nah not me. I'm going to be know as Zac Hanson's wife." Jessy said hugging him tight. "Okay so it's Mrs. Zac Hanson who is a big star then." he teased. "Whatever, that's not important you, we are." Jessy said. "Jessy go for it for me?" Zac asked. "What? Go for what?" Jessy asked. "Promise you won't turn down something you want to do because of me is all." he said. "Fine I won't turn down you offer to marry me, love me, screw my brains out. Those are the things I want to do. Zac I'll sing because I like to and you being famous gives me the opportunity to do what I like to do. I know I don't have to that you'll always take care of me. I love the fact that you encourage me to try different things, but Zac my singing is and never will be more important than me being at your side. That's where I'm suppose to be, not chasing around the country, world singing to people who don't matter. I sing because you matter and I like to. But Zac if the only way I could sing was to not be with you, it's not for me. I guess I'm asking the band to let me tag along, doing what I like, but if not, I don't want to sing for the world, I'll just sing for family and friends, like I have up until now." she said. "Jessy sing "Sometimes" at the Fan Appreciation Concert. That's a good song, perfect for your range. Man that last verse had almost all of us ready to cry. I never felt so proud of anything or anyone, even Mmmbop." he laughed. "I'd love to let your fans know how I love you. Zac it's like it was written about me and the way I feel about you." Jessy declared, adding, "I want to make sure Chris knows how much I want this song, hand me the phone." Jessy asked and he reached and handed her the receiver. Jessy dialed the number, "One more time she calls, it's.." Jessy was interrupted, "Hey Jessy, I know you voice already, it's so pretty. Hang on I'll get Chris for you." she said. "Hey Jessy. What can I do for you this time?" he asked. "I'm not sure if you'll want to. First I love the song and I know I could make everyone love the song but.." Jessy said interrupted by Chris, "But I don't want a singing career, I want to be Zac's wife." "How did you know what I was going to say?" she asked surprised. "Walker and I discussed it. He called to tell me how great you were. He said Diana was in tears and how she always liked the song it meant a lot to her personally but she couldn't get past the person singing the song to love it like she did when she heard you. I knew you'd do it justice Jessy. I'd like to bring the song writer to hear you if you don't mind?" Chris said. "Chris is it possible for me to do it on my terms. I don't want a career if it takes me from Zac." Jessy asked. "Yeah Jessy it's possible. When you get out of bed, you'll find Walker, Taylor and Isaac are all for your singing. Taylor wants you to sing a duet with him and so does Isaac. They both have the songs picked out, just waiting for you to decide you want to do it. My only draw back right now is I'd like you in the studio to record "Sometimes" instead of a live taping at the concert." Chris said. "Can't I do it locally. There's got to be a studio in Tulsa. How about the guys'. I know it's not complete for the band, but they do voice recordings. Can't you bring the music and put it together here. Zac is shaking his head yes. You talk to him. She's right Chris we've got a good sound board, we can mix it right here and she doesn't have to leave for you to get what you want." Zac said. "You know what you got Zac. Then I just get the music, what does she want orchestra, symphony, have her name it and I'll be out with it. Your Dad and brothers were on with me earlier and are all for her career. Both your brothers want her to sing duets with them, all of them, the whole family is for her singing that song to your fans at the concert, especially your Mom, Zac. Hey I need to know what size she wears, so I can start sending her clothes so she can decided what she'll wear." Chris said. "She's a six. She's sexy without selling it Chris, nothing trashy okay." Zac said. "I don't know her that well but I agree with you. Soft, Feminine okay with you?" Chris asked. "That's Jessy. he does justice to hot and sexy, but it isn't necessary, okay? She's saying she won't wear it except for me if you send it. So pick me out a couple of nice ones." Zac laughed. "Zac Hanson give me that phone. Chris don't listen to him. Trashy is the stigma the song has right now, I have to come out the opposite to sell it. You know, covered, soft, feminine not exposed, hard and trashy." Jessy said while Zac's hands appreciated her exposed body. "Got you Jessy. What do you see as back up music?" Chris asked. "Taylor played and I sang. pure and simple, I liked it." Jessy said. "Put Zac back on a minute." Chris asked. "Yeah Chris?" Zac asked. "Zac would you guys come into town for a day and bring Jessy to do the song, you guys backing her. You should be able to get it in one day. You heard her she want's pure and simple. She wants you guys." Chris said. "Sounds good to me, let me ask the guys and get back to you on it. Talk to you later." Zac said hanging up. "What?" Jessy asked. "He wants the four of us to come to town and record it, us backing you up. What do you think? Want to go to NYC with me or we can go to LA if you'd rather." Zac said. "Of course I would, when?" Jessy asked him. "Before the concert, as soon as possible really." Zac said. "Cool. I can't wait for you to show me your world." Jessy said. "Let's get dressed and ask them." Zac said as they got up, dressed and headed downstairs. "There's my girl. You look rested now sweetie." Mom said hugging her. "Thanks I guess I really needed a nap after all." Jessy said kissing her cheek. "Even big girls need a Mommy." Mom whispered kissing her forehead. "Hey guys how do you feel about going into the studio for a day and playing backup to Sometimes for Jessy. LA or NYC we don't care, Chris prefers NYC though." Zac asked. "Sure. Anything for Jessy." they both answered. "Thanks guys." Jessy said hugging them both. "Meant it Jessy, what every you need, just ask and it's yours." Taylor said kissing her cheek. "Same goes for me." Isaac said kissing her other cheek. "Same goes for me." Zac said wrapping his arms around her waist. They moved in the small drum set and amp for Isaac's guitar, while Jessy made copies of the music for each of them. They practiced until dinner, "Sounding great guys. Jessy I see no reason you could head in the first of the week and get it recorded." Dad said. "Grampa do you think you could come with me. I know the boys know their way around and everything it's I don't want people to think we travel alone together chaperoned by his older brothers is all. That's not proper." Jessy asked. "Jessy I'm flattered you'd ask." Grampa said surprise in his voice. "Why Grampa? You know I love you, trust you. Say yes please." Jessy said. "I'd love to. I am your guardian anyway." Grampa said. "Hey I forgot that, you are. Of course you should come." Jessy said as they sat to dinner. After dinner Grampa and the girls headed home. "Call me." Jessy asked not wanting to let go of Zac. "Promise." Zac said as she crawled in the back. "You better call me. Let me know if you hear anymore on you know who. You know I'm behind you on this Taylor. I love you and believe in you." Chele said getting into the front seat. "You drive careful Grampa." they said as he backed out and laid rubber. "Dadddy you hot rod." Mom yelled after them as they headed to the old neighborhood.
