The two headed downtown to take Chele to lunch. They walked into the Chamber of Commerce office and there at the front desk was Chele. "Hey Sis. Right out front heh? Bet it's because you're so pretty in that outfit." Jessy teased. "Do you think you can join us for lunch Chele?" Grampa asked. "I'd love to, let me see if I can go now." Chele said leaving and coming back all smiles. "My favorite place is right down here." Grampa said walking down the street with a pretty girl on each arm, they envy of all. They had lunch, laughing and enjoying each others company and they returned Chele to work before Grampa decided he wanted to go fishing. They headed back home for poles and headed to the family's property north of town with its own private lake. The two fished and laughed for at least three hours. "I haven't had this much fun in along time Jessy. Thank you." Grampa said. "Don't thank me, I can honestly say this was a first for me. I've really never had a Grampa who did stuff with me. Except for holiday and special days, you know the obligation stuff. I've had a blast. I hope we can do this again." Jessy said as they rowed back to shore and made their way home. Jessy quickly started supper and then showered. Grampa decided since Jessy smelled so good now he should shower too. Before he got out the phone rang, "Lawyer residence" Jessy answered. "Hey you must be Jessy. Is my Grandfather there?" the voice asked. The voice bothered her, for some reason it sounded familiar she thought. "He is but we just got back from fishing and he's in showering at the moment. Can I have him call you back? I'm sorry someone is at the door. can you hang on? Hello, I'll sign for that." Jessy told the UPS man. "Have a nice day." she said. "You too and welcome to the route young lady." he said. "Thanks. I'm sorry, did you want me to have Grampa call you when he's done... hello hello? Hey Grampa you have a rude grandson, he hung up on me. Here this package just came for you." Jessy said heading to the kitchen as Grampa dialed the phone, Diana did one of your boys just call and hang up on Jessy?" he asked. "Dad I don't know, let me ask. Boys did one of you just phone your grandfather? You get on the phone and apologize for your rudness." she scolded. "Grandfather it's me Zac. I'm sorry I hung up, she sounded busy, so I thought I'd just call you later. She tells me you took her fishing. I would have gone with you. You didn't say anything about fishing this morning?" Zac said. "Zac I'm sorry it was one of those last minute things, I didn't think to call you boys. I apologize." Grampa said. "Now your turn young man, I wasn't happy to find out you hung up on her. I expect you to do the right thing. Jessy my grandson would like to talk to you." Grampa said. "Hello." Jessy said. "So you are a snitch huh? First you take my place fishing and now you snitch on me and get me in trouble, I wouldn't apologize to you if my life depended upon it." Zac said and hung up. "Thank you for saying so. I hope I have a nice summer too. I definitely enjoy your Grampa. Goodbye. He said to tell you goodbye and he loves you Grampa." Jessy said. "He's a good boy, they all are good kids." Grampa said as Jessy busied herself setting the dining room table and he busied himself with his package. Jessy picked up the phone and hit redial. "Hey" the rude voice answered. "You are a pathetic chicken. Pick on me again and I'll make you sorry we share a Grampa." she said. "Oh I'm scared." Zac teased. "You should be. I'm one of five kids and the only girl, so I'd take my warning very seriously. I'm a country kid, no city pansy like you, not much scares me. Certainly not the likes of you. I tell you what to spare Grampa, you name the place and I'll meet you. Besides if I whoop your sorry ass here, I got to clean up the mess. Where, when.?" Jessy said. "I don't care" he said. "The park in two hours?" Jessy asked. "Fine." he said. "Good. I ain't whooped ass in a while and I have sooooo much repressed anger I've been meaning to deal with. Thank you. See you in two hours. It's been nice talking to you. Goodbye." Jessy said to the dial tone. "Hey working girl. How was your day?" Jessy asked trying to hide the phone call. "Fine. Jessy?" Chele asked. "Chele?" Jessy said. "What's up?" Chele asked. "What's down?" Jessy teased making the last preparations for dinner. "Done in fifteen and we're eating in the dinning room. Grampa's in the front room, looking through his memory box as he called it, if you want to say hello. Tell him dinner in fifteen for me, I have to go to the bathroom." Jessy said leaving the room. It was at the dinner table, "I'm going to go blading after dinner, okay?" Jessy asked. "I heard about your new friends. I'm glad." Chele said. "You can come along, some of them are your age." Jessy said. "Maybe some other time. I have a hot date for ice cream to celebrate my first day." Chele said. "Hmmm I thought first anniversary was paper, not ice cream?" Jessy said excusing herself and taking her plate to the kitchen, hardly eating a thing. She placed foil over her plate, "I'll be hungry after I kick your ass." she whispered, placing it in the fridge. She busied herself, doing up the dishes and cleaning the kitchen, pacing waiting for Chele and Grampa to finish. "Finally" she thought to herself as they brought in their plates and she headed to clear the table and finish up. "I'm done here so I'm heading to the park." Jessy announced, heading for the blades on the front porch but opting to change her clothes thinking of the friends she met this morning. "My we change to go to the park. I wonder why?" Chele asked stopping at her door. "I thought I'd dress all innocent and whoop someone's ass. How do I look?" Jessy asked. "Almost" she said taking a hair ribbon and putting it in her hair. "Now you look lethally innocent." Chele laughed. "Play nice." she said after Jessy who was making her way to the front porch but stopped in the front room to say bye to Grampa. "I'm leaving now Grampa." she said. "Jessy you look breath taking. I sure hope this isn't to make Ash sorry for calling your gorgeous, because when he looks at you he's going to be sorry, so sorry." Grampa sighed. "You're a sweet talker Grampa, I'm gonna have to be careful around you, you're going to sweep me off my feet if I don't keep my wits about me." Jessy flirted. "You have fun child, go kick some butt." he said. "I just may. Thanks Grampa." Jessy said hugging and kissing him and making her way to her blades and heading out. She retraced the shortcut Ash had told her, so she didn't go by the parking lot and see the white van. Coming down the incline she picked up speed and headed for the ramp, "Wheeee" she squealed getting some serious air on the first jump, landing for the second adding a twist to her flip. "Yesss" she landed and hit the track. "Hey Jessy, you look cute tonight. Any reason?" Mike asked. "Yeah Mike. This is my kick butt outfit. Like?" she asked. "Hot. Sizzling" he said almost drooling. "Down boy" she said. "Oh I'm sorry Jessy, it's just." Mike said blushing. Suddenly there was music blaring and her body took control and she started dancing. "Go Jessy. Go Go Go" Mike chanted and was soon joined by everyone else clearing the track. "You Go Gurl" Nikki screamed. As the first number ended Jessy moved to the find the source of music. "Serious volume" Jessy said. "Thanks." he said. "What you got besides BSB?" she asked. "That's all I brought. Sorry." he said. "That's all right don't be sorry. They kick butt." she smiled skating off to dance as a thank you to Bad Boy. She got the crowd moving and when they sang it, "Get Yourself A bad boy", a bad boy she picked as she grabbed Ash's hand, pulling him out on the floor to skate with her. "This isn't fair Jessy." Ash said as she placed his hands on her hips. "I can't hang on you move too fast." he complained as she turned. "Can't play with the big girls huh Ash?" Jessy asked shaking it. "You're impossible." he said skating off and hands went up everywhere for a chance to replace him. Jessy chose Ken because she had sensed a rivalry between him and Ash earlier. "If you want to show Ash up, you don't really hang on to my hips tight just get on for the ride. Yeah like that." Jessy said. "Oh this is getting to him." Ken gloated. "Stop and I'll make him eat his heart out." Jessy said as he stopped and she shook it up and down one side of him, then the other. When she ended up in front "Go for another ride" she said and Ken's hands found her hips. "I hope this is as good for you as it is for me girl. Damn, you move fine." Ken said as Jessy noticed Ash leaving, with a blonde but she really couldn't see because of the crowds. "Well Ash left, let's skate again." Jessy said. "Why the sad face, don't tell me you like that creep." Ken barked. "No. Geez Ken, Ash is a major jerk. No I've been stood up. I was suppose to meet someone here, but I guess he changed his mind." Jessy explained and when the number ended she headed home. Pulling her key from the chain around her neck, Jessy raced to get to the phone, "Good evening, Lawyer residence." she said out of breath. "Where were you?" he asked. "I was there, just getting back from there. Where were you chicken boy?" Jessy asked. "I was there." he insisted. "Sure hiding behind what tree?" she asked. "I'm no chicken. I was there." he fumed. "My ass, did you see the dancer?" she asked. "Yeah, it's too bad you're not more like her." he said. "You're so funny." Jess started laughing uncontrollably. "Yeah that is a joke, you in the same class as her." he said. "Try same skin" Jessy laughed. "I can't understand you, what did you say." he asked. "Jessy what on earth?" Chele asked adding "What's so funny?" taking the phone "Hello, what did you do to my sister?" Chele demanded and the phone went dead. "Hung up." she said placing the receiver back. "Jessy you are going to laugh yourself sick. Stop sweetie." Grampa asked. "Sorry Grampa." Jessy said getting control of herself. "She has a sister! God no don't let it be." Zac said, wondering if she was the girl he had been looking for and who now hated him and wanted to kick his ass. "Who has a sister?" Taylor asked. "Grampa's live in help." Zac said. "No can't be them. Grampa wouldn't lie to us." Taylor said.
