Day Has Come

Part Twent-six

The morning sunshine on her face woke her long before the alarm was scheduled to go off. "Ohhh what a nice dream." Jessy said yawning and stretching, reaching for Zac but finding an empty pillow. "Oh Zac" Jessy cried "I want you so." she cried into the pillow as the phone rang. "Lawyer residence" she answered trying to hide her tears. "You are crying. What's the matter?" Zac said. "Oh Zac I just want you so. I had a dream but you weren't here when I woke up. I know I'm not suppose to cry." Jessy cried. "Zac what's wrong with me all I do is cry." Jessy cried. "Baby you're okay. But you could have a little more faith in me. Don't you know how much I love you. Jessy I want you too but I just think about you and it's like you here with me all the time and I can make until I talk to you, see you, hold you." Zac said. "I don't get it you think about me and you can get by until you talk to me, see me or hold me. I think about you and I cry because your aren't here. Zac what is it exactly you're thinking about me? I'm there with you and you're doing what with me?" Jessy laughed. "Oh Jessy you are too much. I love to hear you laugh. It makes the whole world a better place." Zac said laughing with her. "Oh I feel so much better now that I'm talking to you and before long, I'll see you,and touch you. Zac you don't have to ask your Mom, I can once I get out there." Jessy offered. "No I'll ask her, I want her to know that I'm that serious about you. That we're serious about getting married and doing the responsible thing. Even though I wouldn't mind it if you did get pregnant." Zac said. "Well, Lord Zac sort of put a nix on that. I don't want you boiled in oil." Jessy said. "Well we could not let Lord Zac know." Zac said. "Be sneaky? Where would we meet?" Jessy asked. "Let me think, where wouldn't the Lord go?" Zac said. "Oh Zac the Lord is everywhere, we can't be sneaky to him that wouldn't be right." Jessy said. "Yeah the minute it came out without Zac behind it I looked up." Zac said. "Back to the real world. Zac I'm not letting anyone stand in our way. I'm getting married November 2nd. no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Sorry Momma, I'm not waiting. I love Zac and yes I'll love him in two years, six years. So why do I have to wait." Jessy said. "Well that hurdle is history. Where we going to get married?" Zac asked. "I don't care Zac as long as you're there. You know I never thought of any of this Zac, I was never going to get married. Where do you want to get married Zac, tell me and I'll be there." Jessy said. "I'd like to get married in our church Jessy." Zac said. "Good, call the church see if you can get the date, what day of the week is it anyway?" Jessy asked. "Hey it's a Saturday. See it's meant to be." Zac said. "So you going to call the church and schedule? Morning, afternoon or evening?" Jessy asked. "Too many not morning people in my family how about afternoon?" Zac asked. "Afternoon is better than evening, by night you might change your mind." Jessy teased. "I'm going to ignore that because I know you know better. Afternoon, 2pm okay with you?" Zac asked. "How many people we talking. If it's real big I'd rather start earlier. I don't want to be around forever shaking hands and meeting people I'll never see again. Especially when I could be on my honeymoon. Why do you think I'm marry you, to meet people?" Jessy asked. "Jesus Jessy I hope you're marrying me something other than the fact that I can finally make love to you. Yes that's a very important reason, but I hope you love me for something other than my body, I have a mind too you know." Zac teased. "I can play with you mind any day, you won't let me play with your body until I marry you." Jessy declared. "I didn't say you couldn't play, I just said we aren't going all the way until our wedding night." Zac said. "You mean I'm laying her alone when I could be playing close but not quite with you?" Jessy asked. "Boy sometimes it doesn't pay to be blonde." she finished. They said there goodbyes until later and Jessy, rushed through morning chores, got breakfast and woke up Chele without disturbing Mandy. Grampa was up early to eat with the girls and pleased to find out Mandy stayed the night, "This will give me a chance to get to know the woman that put that smile on my Ike's face." Grampa said offering to bring Mandy to the house by lunch. "Darn I was hoping to take her for ribs, but I can see she might want to see her boyfriend before she goes home." Grampa agreed. Jessy and Chele headed out and Grampa headed to the net to see if Gramma was up yet or not and caught Jessy clogging. Jessy dropped Chele off downtown and headed to Zac.
