By the time the made home, there were empty boxes and cords everywhere. "What happened here, an explosion, tornado. Taylor what a mess." Jessy complained. "It's not as easy as it looks." Taylor shouted. "Oh men. What's with your genetic make up. Everything from the seat of your pants." Jessy said pushing her way past him and in less than ten minutes. "There up and running Grampa. Let's get you and ISP hand me the phone book please Taylor. Oh never mind, I better do that myself. It doesn't have instructions." Jessy teased. "Oh you're dead." Taylor said lunging for her. "No Taylor I'm sorry" Jessy squealed on a dead run to the kitchen and turning back for the dining room "Zac help." Jessy squealed hiding behind him. "Jessy you can't hide behind him, he's my brother." Taylor said. "So he's my boyfriend, the father of my future children, my partner for life, should I go on." Jessy said sticking her tongue out at him. "Oh you're terrible." Taylor said sticking his tongue out. "Zac look at that. I don't know if I want that around our children. Sticking out his tongue like that." Jessy said. "You did it first." Taylor said. "Did not" Jessy said lifting her hand with crossed fingers. "Hey don't put me in the middle of this." Zac said. "Fine." Jessy said turning and leaving the room, picking up the telephone book and dialing, arranging for ISP. "Hey Grampa. You're connected." she said turning and picking up the boxes and heading out the back door. "Jessy you mad at me." Zac asked coming out the door with the other boxes. "No Zac why would I be?" Jessy said. "Because I didn't takes sides." Zac said. "Zac I'm sorry I asked you to. It was unfair." Jessy said kissing his cheek as she headed up the ladder to put the boxes away. "Man Grampa has alot of memories up here." Jessy said moving stuff around. "Man I haven't been up here in years." Zac said looking. "What you looking at?" Jessy said wrapping her arms around him. "Zac what is it?" Jessy asked stepping in front of him noticing the tear making it's way down his face. She wiped the tear and wrapper her arms around him "What?" Jessy whispered. "That was Grandmother's keepsake box." Zac said. "Want to look?" Jessy asked. "Nah. Well. Maybe. Yeah" Zac finally decided reaching for the box and the moved under the bare lightbulb and Zac opened the box. "Wow Zac this is wonderful. Look she must have saved every letter, picture her grandkids gave her. A refrigerator showcase museum." Jessy said shuffling through the many papers. "Wow my budding artist. Remember this Zac?" Jessy said pulling out a picture with Zac scribbled in the corner. "God Jessy this is old, I was four maybe five." Zac said. "Another" Jessy said pulling out another Zac original. By now Jessy could tell his stroke and went through at a faster pacer. "A letter" Jessy exclaimed pulling it out, then returning to searching and pulling out until she reached the bottom. "So nice memories?" Jessy asked wrapping her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder. "Yeah Jessy thanks for suggesting it." Zac said turning and kissing her cheek. "Anytime hun." Jessy said resting her head again. "Oh Zac it's almost time for the appointment with Chele's boss, you're going aren't you?" Jessy asked. "Yeah I forgot. How did I manage before you?" Zac asked as he gathered up the papers and put them back in the box and put it back on the shelf. "Later" he said and headed after Jessy who was already on the ladder. "Taylor ready to head downtown?" Zac asked. "What?" Taylor asked. "Meeting with Chele's boss moron." Zac said. "Wow you remembered and I forgot. What's this world coming to?" Taylor said. "You leaving?" Jessy asked. "Yeah we have that meeting with Chele's boss." Taylor said. "Oh yeah right." Jessy said walking them out the door. "How's the garden growing Grampa?" Jessy asked. "Hasn't looked this good in years Jessy you have a green thumb." Grampa said. "No Grampa I keep telling you I talk to them every morning, spread it on real thick." Jessy laughed. "Oh child. Boys have a good meeting, tell my Chele I said hi." Grampa said waving. "Have a good meeting. Anything special you guys want to eat tonight or tomorrow?" Jessy asked. "You surprise us. Your such a good cook you know we'll love it." Zac said kissing her goodbye. Jessy busied herself preparing for their campout. Packing clothes for Chele and herself, towels, blankets and putting it on the back porch to load as soon as Chele got home. She headed to the basement for the cooler and found a volleyball, badmitton, teether ball set and a set of horseshoes which she took to the back porch. She put a layer of ice on the bottom and started packing the cooler lunch on the bottom, then breakfast and finally dinner. She was done with packing and went on line to see what was going on in the world since she left almost a week ago. "Mailbox full, give me a break people been gone only five days." Jessy complained working her way through. "What's this Jessy?" Grampa asked. "This is my AOL account Grampa. My mailbox was full and I'm trying to work through it. No it's okay to watch. I don't have any secrets from you." she told him and they sat side by side going throught it all. "Wow my little miss popularity." Grampa said. "I have a lot of Hanson friends Grampa, that's how I got Sis, A Hanson chat room. We clicked from the start and are still getting closer every day." Jessy told him."Whew I never thought we'd get through it." Jessy sighed. "What's that little lite mean" Grampa asked. "Oh No mail already." Jessy said pulling it up. "Now we're done. Grampa why don't we set up an account for you, most of your grandkids use AOL and it's a pretty easy to use server." Jessy asked. "Sounds like a good idea Princess Jessy." Grampa said and Jessy logged in and signed up Grampa and then personalized his account and writing his children first thing letting them know he was now connected. "Jessy look a light." Grampa said like a kid in a candy store. "Daddy it's about time. I'm so glad. Tell Jessy thank you, I'm sure she held your hand through all of this. Can't wait until we finally meet. Give her a kiss for me. Forwarding all the family addresses. Jessy can help you. Love, Diana" "Now to write her back." Jessy said guiding him through it all. "Grampa don't get frustrated in no time your fingers will be flying, even in the hunt and peck method." Jessy said as the boys came in the front door. "Jessy, Grampa?" Zac called. "Front room boys." Grampa replied. "Hey hun" Zac said wrapping his arms around Jessy, "Missed you." he whispered wrappping his arms around even tighter. "Grampa you got the hang of this already. Way to go." Taylor said patting him on the back then turning to Jessy, "I hope you were serious about helping us out. Here's what we want to do." Taylor said handing her some notes. "Grampa can I use your computer?" Jessy asked. "Sure sweetie I love to watch your fingers fly." Grampa said sliding over as Jessy switched screens and started inputting what she read asking questions as she went and Taylor deciphered his penmanship. After she got everything inputted, she started cutting and paste and rearranging and soon the announcement started taking shape. "Zac I thought you were going to do some artwork for this hun?" Jessy asked. "I haven't done it yet." Zac said. "Well come with me." Jessy said grabbing paper, pens and markers, a ruler and leading him to the dining room table. "You want a snack?" Jessy asked him placing the things on the table. "You spoil me." Zac said. "That's what I'm suppose to do. I'll get you something, Grampa, Tay, either of you hungry?" Jessy asked and headed to the kitchen making each a sandwich and placing them on the table "Come on guys." Jessy said. "Wow Zac that's good." Jessy said heading back to the computer. By the time Taylor was done with his sandwich Jessy was printing a work copy for he and Zac. "So what do we need to change? Didn't you say Ike was coming?" Jessy asked. "Jessy I like it as it is." Taylor said. "Me too hun. This is great." Zac said. "And so is that Zac. You're really talented." she said. "Ike should be here anytime. He went to pick up Mandy." Taylor said. "Tay had you guys considered sending this announcement via the net, it's faster. I really don't know what percentage of the memebership is connected I guess that would be an important fact to consider before deciding but if it's seventy percent or better, I'd go surfing." Jessy said. "No we didn't consider it. It is cheaper and faster Tay." Zac said. "Yeah you're right." Tay agreed. "Anybody home?" Isaac called out. "In the dining room Isaac." Taylor said. "Zac can I scan that and get an idea what space we're working around hun?" Jessy asked and the headed to the scanner, "Ike, Mandy. Jessy this is Mandy. Mandy this is my girlfriend Jessy. We'll be back to the table in a minute." Zac said. "Nice meeting you Mandy we'll talk in a few." Jessy said loading the scanner and while they waited they played their new discovery game. Kissing a different spot on the other's body trying to get them to moan. "Oh Jessy here it comes." Zac said and she was embarassed to find out he meant his drawing. "I like it as it is." Jessy said and she copied and pasted it into the announcement and printed three copies. "Ike , Tay look at this." Zac said excitedly making his way to them with the copies. "Jessy this is great just what we wanted." Isaac said. "Any time guys." Jessy said sitting on Grampa's lap. "Are you going to be okay without us Grampa?" Jessy said cuddling. "I'll be okay. I'll miss you and your sister but I'll be okay. I'm connected now." Grampa said. "Oh you're a tease Grampa." Jessy complained. "Hey Sis, Grampa." Chele called. "We're in the dining room Sis." Jessy called out. "Wow full house Grampa." Chele said kissing his cheek. "And what are you doing in my seat." Chele said. "It's my seat" Jessy said. "Girls." Grampa said. "Yes Grampa, I'm sorry Jessy." Chele said. "Me too. You can sit here now." Jessy said moving to Zac's lap. "Jessy will you come home with us and help us mail this out tonight. We all love it just the way it is." Isaac said. "Sure guys whatever." Jessy said, adding. "Let me change for tonight and we can head out. Why don't you pack up the stuff from the back porch as long as you're still here." Jessy made her way upstairs showering quickly, then drying her hair. She dressed in her Hanson bikini the cover up top and matching draw string pants, slipped on a pair of sandals and made her way back downstairs. "I'm ready hun." Jessy said walking up behind Zac. "Grampa you behave yourself while I'm gone. No wild parties." Jessy teased hugging and kissing him goodbye. "You have a good time Princess and you take good care of her Zac." Grampa said. "My pleasure." Zac said as Jessy made it back to his arms. "Sis I packed everything we talked about so all you need is to change. Your suits on your bed. You going to catch up with us?" Jessy asked. "No Tay's staying and we're heading to the property from here." Chele said. "See ya later than." Jessy said hugging her and taking Zac's hand. "Which do you prefer to drive Jessy my truck or the van?" Isaac asked. "Your truck if you don't mind." Jessy said as Zac's eyes got big. "Sure lil sis here." Isaac said handing her the keys as Mandy headed to the van in a hurry. Jessy crawled in, moved the seat forward and then they were off with Isaac and Mandy behind them. "Jessy do you know Isaac doesn't let anybody drive his truck?" Zac said. "No hun but if you hum a few bars, I might." Jessy said laughing. "Zac how would I know. He offered and I accepted. If he didn't want me to drive his truck, he shouldn't have offered." Jessy said as Zac directed her to his house. "Come on Jessy." Zac said excitedly taking her hand and entering the front door. "Mom I brought her. Mom, Dad?" Zac called. "There you are. Mom, Dad this is Jessy. Jessy my Mom and Dad." Zac introduced her. "Jessy, finally we meet. I've loved you for all this time and we now just meet. Welcome." Diana said hugging her tight and kissing her cheek. "Nice to finally meet you too. This is a great house, so warm and inviting." Jessy said. "Thanks . That's what I was going for. It's nice to know I did it right." Diana replied. My turn Jessy you're as lovely as Zac said. I was sure he was stretching the truth, you are too pretty for words." Walker said hugging her. "Now I see where Zac gets it. He's quite a sweet talker too." Jessy smiled. "You I like." he said kissing her cheek and blushing. "Walker Hanson I haven't seen you blush in years. How sweet." Diana said hugging him. "Isaac, Mandy how are you both? Oh, Jessy I have something for you." Diana said taking Jessy by the hand and leading her to her room, sewing, office, craft all combined into one space. "Here sweetie. I saw this and you came to mind. Strange huh? Haven't even met you and this reminded me of you." Diana said handing her the gift. "Wow this is nice of you." Jessy said tearing away at the paper. "Oh my. How'd you know? Did he tell you?" Jessy asked, adding, "This is exactly how he makes me feel." her eyes filling with tears. "It's beautiful, I'll treasure it always. Thanks so much." Jessy said hugging her tight. "No Jessy thank you for loving my father. I haven't seen him this alive since Mom died and watching him slowly fade away.. Just thanks Jessy. You'll always have a special place in my heart. In spite of him." she said nodding at Zac. "Oh Zac look hun." Jessy said rushing to his arms and showing him the necklace. "She didn't even know I was Grampa's Princess when she saw it and thought of me. I'm glad you finally introduced us." Jessy said handing him the necklace as she twisted her hair and lifted it so he could put it on. It was shorter than her lover/fighter necklace, but almost a match with it's word grampa and it's little crown with real diamond chips and ruby chips. "Thanks again. I can't wait to show Grampa. He's gonna flip." Jessy laughed. "Come on hun we're ready. Ike's got the computer running." Zac said. "Oh yeah I was having so much fun with your Mom I forgot." Jessy said taking his hand. "I have to go pay the price for finally getting to meet you." Jessy teased. "Jessy that's not fair." Zac complained. "Oh Zac you been had." Jessy laughed. "God" Zac said stopping and kissing her harder then ever as Jessy gasped, then moaned and her eyes filled with tears. "I love you Jessy." Zac said kissing her tears. "I know I feel it Zac." Jessy said smiling then she wrapped her arms around his neck pressing her lips to his, slowly moving them inching their way around his, then harder as their passion grew until Zac moaned form the deepths of him and he pulled away. "Zac? What?" she whispered. "If this was a competition, you'd win." Zac said lost in Jessy's eyes. They made their way to the office. "Man this is big. What's your errata percentage on a mailing. Oh I can find it out myself. Wow what a big jump. Guys what happend around this time. New program, new manager, new input person. Something went definitely wrong around this time." Jessy said and they discussed all their options. Jessy broke the data base down into easier handling segments. "You've now invited half of them." Jessy announced. "Done. Let's see the error rate. Not bad if I say so myself." Jessy said and pulled up the first list. "I see what's going on with these." Jessy said fixing them, repeating the process, for each segment until she was completed. "Done, done, done. Let's go." Jessy said turning the computer off after writing Grampa. "Jessy you need anything you call." Diana said. "I will Mom don't worry. You're not getting rid of me that easy." Jessy teased and the four loaded into Isaac's truck and headed to the lake property.
