Day Has Come

Part Twelve

"Where does she get all that energy?" Grampa said watching Jessy chase after someone's four year old who's mother had just had it. "I don't know Grampa. She should be dragging. She didn't sleep good over Tay and Chele. You know Tay still going with Jaime I guess. I don't think Taylor knows if he's going with her at times." Zac said confused. "I know how could you not know. I guess Taylor wanted to belong even if it was to the wrong person. He won't have that problem anymore. He and Chele will be good for each other. Look at her now." Grampa laughed Jessy with the tot on her shoulders dancing her way back to Mom each eating a cookie. "Thank you Joey please no more running from Mom okay. Let me pay you for the cookies at least." the frantic mother said. "Oh no I couldn't they were free. I think the cookie man liked somebody huh Joey?" Jessy laughed. "Want a bite of my cookie?" Jessy offered as Zac wrapped his arms. "No thanks but" Zac said as he buried his face in her hair, nuzzling until he found her ear and nibbled her earlobe and whispered "I'd love a bite of yours" as his body rubbed against hers and she gasped. "Let's go find Grampa a computer Jessy" Zac said dragging her by the hand. "Come on" he said looking back at her dazed look and when she looked at him she blushed. Jessy took a couple of quick steps to catch up with him still trying to shake the image. He'd thrown her for a loop, she was suddenly quiet and clinging, unable to shake the image of her and Zac. Grampa wanted ice cream so they stopped and were sitting at a small table, "What's he doing here? Oh that's right Jaime works in there." Zac said looking at Taylor outside a pretzel vendor. "She does huh? Well if you gentlmen will excuse me for a moment." Jessy said pulling off her tee-shirt revealing a tight tank, bending over shaking her hair tossing it back then smoothing it, tossing her tee to Zac then moving her jeans a little farther down exposing her belly button. "Hey Tay. So nice to see you hun? You looked so hot last night. Ohhhh I can't get you off my mind. I see you're here early too, couldn't wait to see me again either? I hope." Jessy said her hands all over him as she spoke. "Hey Jessy. Yeah I could wait to see you either. We going to pick up Sis for lunch?" Taylor asked. "Of course, she'd die if she knew I was with her number one fella and we didn't have lunch with her. If I was only older, I'd give her a run for her money. I know there's only room for one girl in your life. At least your my big brother now." Jessy said laying her head on his chest and sighing. "Sure are lil sis. I'd do anything for you, you know that?" Taylor said. "Yeah I do. you already have. I can never thank you enough. Did you dump the ex yet? Taylor how could you not know you were like going with someone. Man like she had to mean absolutely nothing to you if you like weren't even sure you were going with her. Zac told me but he wasn't sure either. He said you guys were like a bad habit, not really good or meant for each other but so hard to break. Taylor hun it's easy. Just look her in the eye and say I love someone else, here name is Chele, she's the love of my life, the girl of my dreams. Say it Taylor." Jessy said still resting her head in his chest. "I love someone else, her name is Chele. She's an angel, the girl of my dreams and the love of my life Jaime. I just thought you ought to know from me before you hear it from someone else or see it in a magazine some day. I'm sorry it never really clicked for me and I should have told you sooner, I did, but I should have made you accept when I did. I'm sorry. I hope you find that someone special someday. Goodbye. Hey Jessy, you gonna help me pick out that ring now?" Taylor said kissing the top of her head. "Sure big brother, whatever you say." Jessy said kissing his cheek. "Let's go then kiddo." he said smacking her ass and off she went. "Owww Taylor what was that for?" Jessy said rubbing her butt. "Jessy you're terrible, God awful terrible, but thanks I don't think she was ever going to listen to me. Thanks is all Jessy." Taylor said "Don't thank me no more. Zac. Zac You're brother smacked my ass. He said I was terrible." Jessy pouted. "You are." Zac said kissing her boo boo. "Ouuuu all better now. Wait you say I'm terrible too. Grampa your grandsons." Jessy pouted. "Oh Jessy give it a rest child." Grampa said. "For you Grampa not for him, or him. Ouch." Jessy said sitting down rubbing her butt "I'm done with tight fitting jeans." she said. "Taylor why'd you have to swat her so hard. Now I get to suffer." Zac complained. "Jessy honey I didn't mean to swat you that hard. I'm sorry if I hurt you." Taylor said. "Boys you been had." Grampa said looking at the twinke in her eyes. "You should be sorry, both of you. Do you think I enjoyed doing that. You make a mess of your life, and mess up Chele's, and you sit doing nothing, leaving it all up to me. I don't know who to be more upset with and what are we talking about. Oh I remember chick dumping Jessy style." Jessy laughed. "Well big brother, that was your first and your last. You're on you own. And don't you even think of having me dump me for you." Jessy said glaring at Zac. "No Jessy dear, didn't cross my mind sweetie." Zac said. "Good technique Zac, just may save you." Grampa said and they all laughed. They were making their way down to the computer store when suddenly BSB was blaring from the music store as they started to pass and Jessy came to life to Everybody. "You're in for a treat Grampa, she's great on blades I hate to think of her with her feet on the ground." Zac told him. "She's a mover and shaker Grampa." Taylor added as the three watched Jessy move. When a crowd started gathering she waved goodbye and headed down the Mall. "You gonna slow down enough for Grampa to catch up." Zac yelled running to catch her. "Zac why didn't you stop me. God you must be so embarassed." Jessy said. "What are you talking about?" Zac asked. "I don't mean to, something happens to my brain around music, it's like a direct pipeline to my dance control center and off I go dancing. I'm sorry." Jessy said wrapping her arms around his neck. "Jessy don't ever be sorry for loving music, loving to dance, for loving kids, for loving Grampa. Face it you're a lover and a fighter." Zac laughed. "Zac Hanson you're right. But I'd rather love you than fight you any day." Jessy said pressing her lips to his kissing him sweetly. They waited for Grampa and Taylor window shopping when Zac spotted something in the window and dashed inside leaving Jessy with a confused look on her face. "Where'd Zac go?" Grampa asked. "In there. We were just window shopping and off he ran, not a word, just left." Jessy explained as a clerk entered the window and removed a mannequin. "God that was an ugly outfit, I'd look hideous in it. Please Zac don't buy me any clothes?"Jessy said practicing. "Oh it's lovely dear." without upchucking. "Jessy close your eyes." Zac said his hands behind his back. "Around you butt swatters. I don't think so." Jessy complained. "Hey Tay that's not fair." she said as Taylor covered her eyes. "Look" Zac said as Taylor removed his hands Jessy saw a silver chain with a clenched fist and a pair or lips hanging from it. "Oh Zac that's beautiful. Thanks." she said twisting her hair and lifting it so he could put it on for her. "There for my lover and who is a fighter." Zac said kissing her while tears filled her eyes. "Thanks" she whispered as he wrapped an arm around her waist and led her to the computer store. They finally selected one and Tay was parked closer so he picked it up and Grampa decided to ride with him, giving Jessy the keys to his car. "What you wouldn't let me drive it but for Princess Jessy you fork over the keys. Are you sure you're not her Grampa and just tolerate us?" Taylor complained. "You watch her at that music store Zac, she may go into convulsions again. Remember don't restrain her let her work it out." Grampa teased. "Grampa you're embarassing me." Jessy squealed hiding her face in her hands then hiding in his arms. "Oh sweetie you're a mover and shaker like Taylor said." Gramps said and Jessy peaked at Taylor, the blushed when he was looking. "Here Zac I think you can handle her." Grampa said opening his arms for Zac to take her, as he and Taylor made there way out of the Mall. "So what we going to do now." Zac asked sitting on a bench and pulling her to his lap kissing her necklace. "I don't care, I'm happy doing anything as long as I'm with you." Jessy said kissing him then caressing his face, lost in his eyes. "Hey Zac. Thought that was you. Hey to you to pretty thing." the young man said soon joined by about four other guys and a couple of girls. "Jessy I'd like you to meet a bunch of kids from the old neighborhood." Zac said. "I've seen you . You've got that rad silver board. You're always in the park. Yeah you too." Jessy said. "Yo Bobbie that's the chick on blades man." one of the guys said. "Yeah you're right. Bitchin blades babe. You cut a mean figure." he said "Back at you. Serious hang time." Jessy said. "Awright." he said hi fiving Jessy. "So what's hanging Zac?" he asked, adding "Whoa momma. Serious bucks." he said pointing at her necklace. "This Zac gave it to me." Jessy said. "Way to go Zac. Mark her fine. Serious huh?" he asked. "Way serious." Zac said. "Cool man. Catch on the flip side. You too Jessy. Next time you're in the park come see us. We don't bite." he said and the headed down the Mall. "What was that?" Jessy asked laughing. "You know Ken, Bobbie is his little brother." Zac said. "No Way." Jessy said. "Way Jessy" Zac said. "Man I don't believe it." Jessy said looking at her necklace. "Zac, this is real isn't." Jessy said looking at the stone on the clenched fist then looking at him. "Yes Jessy it's real. That's not why I bought it, it was just so perfect. We no more than talk about you being a lover and a fighter and what I look in the next window and there it is a clenched fist and a pair of lips. Look where the stone is. Someday, that'll be your fist, well hand and I'll put an engagement ring on it, but until I do this is my promise to you that I'll always love you even when we're fighting. I love you Jessy now and forever." Zac said kissing her from the bottom of his heart. They walked arm in arm to the far end of the mall and headed home.
