Jessy pulled her Mustang into the driveway as the garage door opened. "Morning Isaac" she greeted pulling her car up behind his truck and parking, leaving the keys in it. "Where you headed?" she asked. "To get you sis. What are you doing here? I'm glad but I didn't know you must have taken Chele to work. Where's Mandy?" Isaac asked trying to wake. "Oh poor big brother. Mornings aren't your thing. Didn't Zac tell you?" Jessy asked. "No he's still in bed." Isaac said. "He's what? No can't be, I talked to him. That cheat. I'll wring his neck. He's been getting up the last three or four days and calling me at sunrise, knowing I'd be up as soon as the sun came in the window. I hate to miss the beginning of the day. I don't believe him, getting up to impress me than going back to bed." Jessy laughed. "Go rag his sorry butt Jessy." Taylor said. "Hey Tay. Will you pick up Chele for me tonight so I don't have to stop what I'm into by that time. Please Zac was supposed to have asked you?" Jessy asked. "Sure any excuse to see your sister." Tay said. "Great. The keys are in the car. I'll probably need you running this morning, I'm determined that we get snail mail done and posted today. What you think Isaac? Man if it was me, I'd be peeved." Jessy said. "No I agree Jessy but man that's a lot. I don't see how?" Isaac said. "You eat and then I'll tell you what I got cooking. Man my brain's on overload. See I got Taylor hands, I can't keep them still." Jessy said heading to the back yard enjoying the flowers and pruning a little. When she became overwhelmed with missing Zac. she returned to the house to go wake him but sat at the piano instead. Without thinking about her fingers began to play and she sang from her heart. "No other lover, ever really cared. When I reached out for you, you've always been there. Now I'm so far away, and baby I'm scared. Never Knew Lonely Til You. You are my rock and the strength I need. To keep me sane, in this life that I lead. Now I'm not with you, and my broken heart aches. Never Knew Lonely Til You . Never Knew Lonely could be so blue. Never Knew Lonely could tear you in two. Never Loved Someone Like I Love You. Never Knew Lonely Til You. I can't make up for the times I've been gone. I'll prove I love you in the words of this song. Back in your arms, is where I belong. I never knew lonely to you. Never Knew Lonely could be so blue. Never Knew Lonely could tear you in two. Never Loved Someone Like I love you. Never Knew Lonely til You." At some point Isaac had picked up his guitar and sang harmony with Tay and sleepy head who had joined his brothers but Jessy hadn't noticed. "Wow Jessy I'd swear your heart had been broken, the way you sang." Zac asked. "Nope just never loved anyone enough that it could be is all. Sleepy head. I can't believe you tried to fool me. Zac what were you going to do come November hun?" Jessy asked. "Well I figured I'd still get up with the sun, but you'd be there to keep me up. You know." Zac teased. "You are terrible." Jessy said. "Isaac you ready. Sorry babe I have to go to work. You should have got up earlier, we could have spent some quality time together." Jessy teased kissing him provocatively. "Jessy no." Zac moaned. "Jessy yes." she said heading to the office. The two joined heads, argued over the possibility. "Fine Let me do it myself. I don't have time to argue and find the words to convince you. Just get out. Get Out Now." Jessy said slamming the door after him. "Whoa Zac. Do you have any idea how stubborn she can be." Isaac said. "Yeah, more stubborn than you." Zac laughed and in a few went in to check on her. "Isaac Man you got to see this. Shit she has almost half of it done. Just stay back or she'll snap you head off and she wasn't looking up." Zac said and they entered carefully. "I need more of this and this, she said throwing and empty envelope box and copy paper wrapper at them "NOW" she barked. "Sure Jessy we're going." Zac said. "Zac can I have a water." she asked scooting the chair to the copier, taking the copies and starting the cycle again, rolling to the table and folding and stuffing. "Wait I need the box hun. Cut off the label and leave me the box please." she asked as Isaac returned with her water. "I'm sorry I threw you out. I just didn't know how to tell you what I needed is all." Jessy said. "Don't take it personally, we have the same problem. We'll be back with paper and envelopes. Tay is here if you need anything." Zac said kissing her head. "Some music would be nice, preferably yours." Jessy asked. "Coming up." Zac said and soon Tay had Middle Of Nowhere playing. "Thanks Tay." Jessy said looking up."No thank you sis." Tay said walking back over and kissing the top of her head and then leaving so as not to interfere with the system that only she understood. Isaac returned with paper and envelopes because Zac didn't think he'd keep his hands to himself and Isaac threatened him. Jessy laughed but kept on working. Two and one-half hours after she threw Isaac out, "YaHoo I did it." Jessy screamed and they came running. "4251 in nine boxes. Main post office is expecting you with $1,190.28 for bulk, presorted rate so write the check out to U S Postmaster and go all three of you. Get out of here." Jessy ordered as she stretched out in the chair and then rose rubbing her butt. "It's numb." Jessy laughed heading down the hall to the bathroom, stopping in the fridge for a water and heading to the backyard, humming. She took a big swig of water, stretched and sat in a lounge chair facing the sun and rested. "What Zac?" Jessy asked without opening her eyes. "Hun we just wanted you to know that we love you." Zac said bending to kiss her tenderly. "I love you three too hun. Especially you." she sighed. "Bye babe." Zac said watching her drift off. "Mom Jessy's asleep in the back yard. Keep an eye on her for me." Zac asked.About a half hour later. "Hey Princess." Grampa said kissing her forehead. "Hey Grampa. I'm pooped, they worked me hard Grampa." Jessy complained. "I heard Princess, my Diana told me, she feels real bad that you had to do it all alone." Grampa said. "Grampa I didn't know how to make him understand, we just butted heads. I threw him out of his own house. I was bad Grampa."she said. "It was a necessary bad Princess, don't apologize for it." Grampa said. "Diana wants to know if you're hungry yet." Grampa asked. "Oh Grampa I just want sit here yet. Okay?" Jessy said nodding off again. The guys returned at noon, with lunch ready, Zac tried. "Jessy hun wake up." he whispered his lips lightly touching hers."Zac you're back. I missed you." she whispered scooting over and patting the chair for Zac to sit. She cuddled in his arms and a smile came over her face. "There you are smile. I was afraid we worked it right off my Jessy." Zac said kissing her tenderly and she sighed. "Zac did you ask Mom yet?" Jessy asked. "Yeah babe, she thinks you'll like her group and said she'd go along if you wanted or needed her too." Zac said. "Zac that's nice. She sure takes this Mom stuff seriously. It's fine if she wants to, I've been before I know what to expect so I don't need her to hold my hand, Now you. I'll take you to hold my hand, for the sake of holding it." Jessy said smiling. "When?" Jessy asked. "Friday at 11" Zac said. "It's a date then." Jessy said. "I guess it's time to stop feeling sorry for myself and get my self fed and back to work, maybe we can get it all done and set up yet today." Jessy said. "Nope can't get up. You're going to have to push or pull." Jessy laughed. They ate and returned to the office to work on ticket sales. Taylor excused himself to go pick up Chele and the other three kept at it until supper time. "I can't see straight. Take me out to dinner. I get our room first so I can change." Jessy said heading up the stairs. She changed into jeans and a tank adding her clothes to the hamper. "Your turn, bring down the dirth clothes once you've added yours to it. It should be full." Jessy said. The guys changed, brought down laundry, started a load and the five headed to dinner.
