The rain pounds my face
The sadness I feel may not be shown

As the thunder crashes
My heart breaks with shock
The rain washes away love
As the lightning brings hate
The sky clears to black
Thunder resounds to bring pain
My life is a constant downpour
Flooding all of myself
Leaving no room for happiness
And consuming my heart
The pounding rain is forever
Etching pain into a stone soul
Drowning thoughts of love
In an endless sea of sorrow
Set forth on my journey
Across this sea of evermore
Tossed aside and thrown over
And so I drown in my pity
No one stopping to ask why
No one to help me live
The Storm continues forever and a day
Now Death comes to end my misery
