Inserting a gene taken from an alive body into a food forms genetically modified crops (“Genetically Modified Crops”, n.d., p. 1). “´Genetically modified (GM) crops have now been commercially produced for more than seven years´” (Lusk & Sullivan, 2002, p. 32). Today this situation is disputed and scientists make researches about the usage of genetically modified foods. Genetically modified foods, also known as GMF, possess some critical disadvantages like human health risks, environmental hazards, and ethical concern although they improve on nature.
