Knife on Board : Once travelling back from Qatar, it happened to be a kichen knife left in handbagge. While getting a clearance from Airport, the guy (young about 18 years, who does not even english) snached the boarding pass, passport and knife. I tried to convience him if airline does not allow it I will throw it in dust bin, but in vain, keeping me in testion for more than hour, at last minute he made me to put it in luggage as separate item. While on Mumbai airport the knife was again missing, again tesnsion. After spending 2 hours it was found with staff and with my other baggage which was opened without a key and not bothering to keep the items back. From that day I never carried even a shaving blade in my hand baggage, SO YOU SHOULD DO.

South India : A nice scenery and very pleasant atmosphere. The right time to visit is dec-mar. Very huge and many temples and unbelivable workmenship. Clean sea beaches just cannot resist.
Minakshy temple is built in 15 acers of land and having 4 huge entrances. Very nice temple and nice statue. Godess guarding the south India. Each piece of stone carved very elegantly. Here elephant can bless you if you pay him money.
Rameshwaram is on the sea shore and have 21 rivers emerging as springs. Can not forget a huge Nandi and Shiva temple. 5 kilometer bridge in the sea and colapsable train track.
Kanyakumari is the extrem south point. A huge roaring sea and possible to see sunrise and sunset from the same point. Beutiful godess temple with no sunshine reaching inside the temple. Extremely shining dimond in godess nose and very attractive statue. Vivekanand rock is one of ambitions since school days, which came true more than satisfying experience. A golden touch rock with high spiritual value, needs to be experience only.
Kodaicanal is the place where you just get relaxed with cool breeze even in peak summer. A beutiful scenery and sky touching hight makes you above the world.

Thirupati : After getting in the queue for special darshan. It take one and half hours to pay a money and get an electronic band and a rude order to be back in the main line after 5 hours. Spend the time on moutain top. In main line it is very difficult to spend 5 more hours with special darshan devotees with rush, pushing, sweating.  Once I get to the god Thirupati statue then all the trouble faced earlier got the secondary thing and trilled with appearance. Very nice statue and pleasant atmosphere. Cannot resist the taste of laddus. Felt like in heaven where first lord Vishnu landed on mountain top. Very spiritual place, capable of feeling peace in mind for long time.

Delhi : A capital of India and one of worst applications of public transport. It is very difficult to get away with richshaw or taxi driver without heated arguments or shelling out more money.

Visit to US : Landed on the airport with a only telephone contact number in Feb 1992. Helped myself to get out of the airport. The person came to receive was Indian. While driving back to guest house found only vehicles on the road and no nearby residence sign. Felt like a bundh. As I was sheevring with cold the caretaker was feeling the warm day. After experiecing the snowfall only I was able realise why he was feeling that day as warm. Never felt the attraction of place.
