Back in the days of Doom2 and Heretic, there was a man, a myth, a legend, a god... He used to go by the name of OGRE, OGRE69666, or IkillU. Then, came Quake. Quake multiplayer exploded on the internet, and newe names were used to go with the game's obituaries. Things like A Dirty Old Man, so that he could see "3Finger Jack accepts A Dirty Old Man's Shaft" as an obituary. He'd even try other names to go with that obituary like "Teenage Schoolboy". One day, after he had lots and lots of practice, he started winning matches left and right. LPB's were oftentimes no challenge for him. He then took on the name Dr. Kevorkian and never turned back. He was the mentor for a great many upstart players like Dr. 3Finger and Dr. Memnoch. Their training courses were rough and grueling, since Dr. Kevorkian showed no mercy. The three would enter any Quake game on Mplayer and other miscellaneous servers throughout the Quake community. They would easily dominate any match within a matter of minutes. Dr. Kevorkian won countless matches. He would enter a room with a 20 fraglimit, maybe the lead person would have 10 frags, and at the end of the match Dr. Kevorkian would be on top. We soon adopted a pseudo clan-like persona beginning with naming our LAN server Malpractice. The Malpractice crew would dominate for several hours and quit once the Dr's had too much to drink. Dr. Kevorkian would often stay in the game until he pa$$ed out, which was often. Soon afterwards, the internet gaming community began suffering as countless LPB's would enter any room and completely screw up the bandwidth distribution. The Dr's went their separate ways and only appear in rare cameo appearances on various servers and various games the world over. Some of you may have even seen a couple of them at E3 last year... Your time may come soon.
