Encuentro

Pay attention, suck up the color,
pull the trigger, catch the rythm.
Soften, abide, turn pages, and mend
your holes, selectively... Make sense
of this fragile but enduring veil
called life.
Tiki tourches, black warm breeze,
Longing ethics, bang, golden treez.
Empathic enchantment.
Chameleon mindwalls, 3-D shape
shifting, lotion beats, rippled
affection, satirical involvment,
Please make it easy, I want to
be your friend, everybody's puppy
lover.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I'll learn, but...

(my personal favorite)

The cleanest beeling
you leaving
a silence at a time
in that look
covering your lie
that you really didn't
want to come with me
after all
which story
aren't you telling this time
looking at my listening
hearing nothing but
your own pain
at pushing away
your guardian angel
so quietly
my empty wings.

The Feeling

You are sitting justy a few feet away from me... but your out of my reach. I want to hold you. My heart pounds, I hear yourse. I wish I could feel it on my fingertips. Your words often tell me how you feel, when your not with them. Your small, shy, gestures show me...I want to prove it now. My hands are chilled and need your warmth from your face. Instead I cool my feet on a rock. Show me that beautiful smile that makes my heart race... that smile that makes my lips want to meet yourse... Please change like the breeze as it cuts through the humid sky. Come and take my eyes, hands, arms, sweep my legs and change this seperation. I want to feel your breath roll over my skin, I want to breath you deeply, kiss you sweetly, and get lost in your eyes. I want to hold eachother. Then as I see the brown glossy eyes quickly go over there, gone like the breeze on my sholder. I heald my breath for a split second... and I exhale as i watch you walk away... out of sight, but never out of mind.

-A collabertive poem written by Sarah and Abbi Pooler-

Eyes meeting for the first time...
For a split, silent, sweet second my heart stops.
I feel entire beeing drift towards...
And my heart sinks when you look away.
Outreached hand, grasping yours,
seeing flashes of a past.
Something so farmillar, yet so new.
Fingertips slipping out of reach...
Reality takes action, I close my eyes.
Head turns, for one last time of a dream.
I look for your face, that drifted away...
Almost catching your eyes again,
a tear falls
And all fades to black.

-Collabertive poem by Sarah Pooler and Jen Madore-

A love that she loved, that turned his back...

And the world she knew finaly had so much more than happy dilusion.
It had dispare.
And it was beautiful... and it was gone.
And it was hushed to a silence,
and the fire inside her soul,
she let it out.
And now she is left to let the rain
Wash her crimson tide away.

-Written by Sarah Pooler-

Looking at you makes me sad inside...
but only because I miss the joy you once gave me...
so please, if anything, look away.

-Sarah Pooler-

Find a beating heart and pretend it will never stop, and only grow stronger with infinite continuity. Let all your fears melt away, as you lose yourself in a elusive passion... never again to look upon an empty heart... And know the feeling of a fragile mind turning powerful, soothing itself into perfection. Innocents falls away with every kiss, and love grows stronger with every look... and two souls mesh... in a tide of power and grace. But when you sense the frivolity of these capricious thoughts, you erase all doubt, and love with simplicity. And that simplicity marks the unsaid understanding, the comfort, that we ao tnderly share. Words spoken or not, we speak to eachother with our wisdom... a connection so perfectly sound... and sentual. Centralized love, so softly connected to its moving anchor. And with every breath, I breath you, my every motion wants to touch you... I dream of you in peacful slumber, my eyes only know you. Our infinite lovers in love.

But accept this remedy for the finite:
...No structure (because it will rot), no government of our minds, no dull patterns or years of inertia, will change or melt or break this love.
