12/24/00 Backstage at the arena Dean approached Lita with mistletoe. But instead of kissing Dean, she punched him in his jaw, setting up a match between Matt and Dean as the main event. Later Lita told the boys that she could take care of the whole Dean thing herself. After she left Matt yelled at Jeff and said he'd take care of Dean for her since he cared about her. Jeff then accused Matt of possibly being jealous of Dean, Matt denied it all though. Dean picked up the win in the end.

12/31/00 The Hardyz, E&C and The Dudleys had their TLC match selected as match of the year. The three tag teams talked about what the match was like and how it feels to be have that be considered match of the year.
