Black Realm exists solely for the purpose of creating BLACK METAL and waging war on the weak minded.

BLACK REALM was formed in January 2002. Many of you already know me from my band MASKIM and ask "Why bother to form another band?", you will find your answer below.
MASKIM has become an entity onto itself, although I write the lyrics and music, the band has evolved into a unit that relies on contributions and input from the other members, and it's sound is also shaped by that input, and it is also that cooperation that makes it's new material more powerful than ever.

BLACK REALM is another project entirely, in a way it is a throw back to when MASKIM was two guys recording demo's in a basement.  BLACK REALM is a project which involves no compromise with others, and because of this , it is the truest and most personal form of BLACK METAL art.   BLACK REALM allows me to be as selfish as possible , to create and record everything exactly as I envision it. I don't have to take playing the songs live into account so it is not as musically limiting.

The music of BLACK REALM is BLACK FUCKING METAL.
It does not have as much of the Thrash and other influences that you hear in MASKIM.
The songs are mainly fast BLACK METAL with dissonant harmonies flowing through them and occasional darker heavy sections,  few of the tracks are dark instrumental pieces. Although BLACK REALM consists of only one member , it may have an occasional guest appearances on certain songs.

I've just put a REALAUDIO sample from the song "Extermination" from the forthcoming Debut MCD (coming spring 2004). You need a fairly recent version of REALPLAYER (REAL ONE PLAYER) to play it!!! It should take about 3 minutes to download. Realplayer sound isn't perfect, but it gives you an idea of what BLACK REALM is about...

FEBRUARY 20, 2003
After working on some demo recordings , I decided not to release the demo, but to put them out as an official release (on GENOCIDE MUSIC of course). The BLACK REALM CD (GEN006) will be released sometime in the summer of 2003. It will consist of either 6 or 7 songs (I'm still undecided about a few things). I am currently revising lyrics to some of the songs, so the titles are not etched in stone. What I have completed thus far is a triumph of cryptic BLACK METAL ...NO COMPROMISE. As soon as I have the complete CD info, I'll post it here. Also I'm working on a new website which I'll put up in the coming months.

Video footage was shot in February for the song "Eternal Wanderer" it still needs to be edited etc..., It'll be out someday.
