I am familiar with LAN and WAN technologies, including OSI Model, Ethernet, Token Ring, VLAN’s, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, LAN design, Bridging, Switching, WAN Design, Routing etc.

I also completed part of the Cisco CCNA course, and continue to study RFC’s (Request for Comments), such as IP, TCP, UDP, POP3, NNTP, SMTP, SNMP, RIP2, NAT, HTTP1.1, ARP, RARP, PPP etc.

I have experience dealing with the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of both wired and wireless networks.

I studied Visual Basic in college, and have experience building stand-alone applications and front ends for both SQL Server and MS Access databases.

I have also recently started to learn Java/Swing.

I have been writing web pages for the last few years and I can understand and code in HTML, JavaScript/JScript and VBScript.

I have also studied Transact SQL as used in Microsoft SQL Server.

I have over 2 years of experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues on PC's, covering all the latest hardware, such as Bluetooth, PDA's, wireless media receivers, broadband, standard dial up modems, graphics cards, etc.
