Think Peter Pan.

Remember your childhood fantasy about flying? Well the Backstreetboys indeed got to fly. I'm sure Kevin was remembering his last flight). It was an awesome spectacle - Brian, Kevin, Nick, AJ and Howie suspended from the ceiling on snowboards. Remember that part of the Larger Than Life video clip, where Brian is flying about on a snowboard? Well same thing but more spectacular.

It was intense. The way the stage was set up was amazing it gave everyone the opportunity to see the boys perform (It was pentagon shaped), and for those of us further up the back (like myself - unfortunately) there were the added bonus of mega video screens so we didn't miss out on all of the action. The screens gave new meaning to the words LARGER THAN LIFE.

Anyways the start was spectacular, coupled with 5 gorgeous peter pans. they shot off fireworks and flames. I was kinda jealous about the ladies down the front. I mean, imagine being that close to the BSB, but I wouldn't have missed it for all the world. I couldn't believe the amount of flashes that kept going off in the San Jose Arena. I mean weren't they banned from taking them in there? Oh well, next concert I.m going to smuggle a camera in.

Part way through the night they were flying through the air again - kind of. At one point Kevin was upside down reaching down to some of the girls in the audience. I'm sure that they probably bottled the sweat that was dripping from his body. I would have (Oh for better seats *sob*)

Everything they did was great. The chair routine was there, the hat routine. You know how your heart stops when Kevin speaks, well he introduced the PERFECT FAN to the audience and I could have died and gone to heaven. I know the girls down the front probably did. They seem to have interacted with the boys all night. Five preselected mother - daughter combinations were brought up on stage for this song.

When they sang EVERYBODY I just wanted to get up and run all the way down to the front. But my sensible self refrained me from doing so. I realise this is not the best review you will read, but for someone who had seats up the back it was still the best concert I've been to.

Hugs and Kisses
