Kevin and Averi finished their food in silence. Kevin was contemplating what the lady had said earlier. Were he and Averi really in love? Was that possible after only a day?
"Are you ready?" Kevin asked Averi.
"Yeah,' she said standing up. Kevin reached over and took her hand. They walked out to his car and went to his house.
Kevin watched as Averi's eyes widened at the sight of his house.
"Your house is huge too," Averi stammered.
Kevin laughed.
"Yeah it is, but it's not as big as Brian's. I wanted a more humble house."
"You call this humble?"
"Compared to the other guys' houses, this is nothing."
Averi laughed lightly.
"Are you ready to see the inside?"
Averi nodded her head. Kevin went to her side and opened the door. He took her hand and led her into his house.

Averi's eyes widened even more when she saw the inside of Kevin's house. It was large, but humble like he said. From what she could tell, it was decorated in neutral earth tones that gave it a warm, comfortable feel.
"If you want to go and change, the bathroom is down the hall, second on the left," Kevin said.
"Thanks," Averi replied smiling.
She walked down the hall and went into the bathroom. It was small, seeing as the main bathroom was upstairs. Averi quickly changed and went back out to Kevin's living room. She saw that he had changed into a pair of jeans and a loose, black T-shirt.
Averi smiled as soon as she saw Kevin. He even looked hot in jeans and a T-shirt. She went over to the couch and sat down Indian style. Kevin reached for her hand. She looked up at him and smiled.
