I woke up the next morning feeling disoriented. It wasn't until i saw AJ next to me, that I figured out where I was. AJ was soundly asleep next to me. His breathing was heavy, but even. I looked at the clock near his bed wondering what time it was. When I read that it was 6:30 I groaned and rolled over trying to go back to sleep.
I woke up two hours later with AJ still asleep next to me. Surprisingly enough I didn't feel much regret for what had happened the night before. AJ stirred slightly and rolled over so her was facing me. His eyes opened and he smiled.
"Hey baby"
"Hey," I replied kissing him lightly.
"Did you sleep well?"
"Yeah, I did," I said snuggling up to AJ.
He leaned in for another kiss. I pulled away quickly before his lips touched mine.
"What's wrong?"
"No more kisses until we brush our teeth. Morning breath is icky."
AJ laughed and got out of bed to put a pair of boxers on. I followed him into the bathroom. After we both had brushed our teeth, AJ pulled me into a long, passionate kiss.
"I love you Kiara. You know I would do anything for you right?"
"Yeah, and I would do anything for you too."
"Love you"
"Love you too. Now I hate to ruin this romantic moment, but I'm very hungry."
"Ok, then we'll go downstairs and I'll make you breakfast."
"AJ, no offense or anything sweetie, but you can't cook."
"Yes I can!"
"You can only cook macaroni and cheese, that's hardly breakfast food. How about I make you breakfast. I'll make you pancakes."
AJ's face lit up and he nodded his head wildly.
"Will you make them like Mickey Mouse?" he asked sounding like a little kid.
"I guess so," I said looking for the pancake mix.
I made AJ his Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. We ate our breakfast together contentedly. Afterward I called Jordainne and asked her to pick me up about an hour later.
Jordainne picked me up at about the time I had told her. I said good-bye to AJ sadly not knowing the next time I would see him.
