"Jordainne, I'm gonna call AJ now."
"Ok, go ahead."
The phone rang once and then someone picked it up."
"Hey AJ."
"Hi baby. I've missed talking to you."
"Me too. You picked up awfully fast. Were you sitting on the phone?"
"Naw. I have been waiting for your call though."
"They actually let you out? I'm amazed."
"Yeah. Anyway, do you wanna go to the movies with Jordainne and Luke tonight?"
"Sure babe."
"Ok, well I'll see you later."
"Bye babe. I love you."
"Love you too. Bye."
I hung up the phone and smiled at Jordainne. It had been almost a week since I'd seen AJ. Since the day my parents said I couldn't see him.
"So what did aJ have to say?"
"not much. Just that he missed me. He also said he'd been waiting for my call."
"That's sweet. I'm gona call luke now."
Jordainne called Luke and we started getting ready for hte movies. I was practically jumping out of my skin. The thought of seeing AJ made me want to jump around Jordainne's house singing at the top of my lungs.
It seemed to take forever, but it was finally time to go meet the guys. We were all giong to meet at AJ's house then go to the movies. Jordainne seemed to be driving so slow. I just wanted to scream. As soon as she pulled into AJ's driveway, I jumped out and ran to his door breezing past Luke who had gottent there moments before us.
The front door flew open to reveal a smiling AJ.His hair was newley died green. I immediately hugged him and he drew me into a long kiss. We pulled away and I laughed.
"What?"
"We're acting like we havent seen each other in years."
"No we're not," AJ argued.
"Yes you guys are," Luke yelled from his place in the driveway by Jordainne.
"Shut up!" We both yelled back.
"Come on baby let's go."
We walked over to AJ's Expedition. AJ started it up and pulled out of his driveway.
Nearly a half hour later, he pulled into the parking lot of a theatre just outside of Orlando. AJ took my hand as we walked into the theatre. I smiled to myself. It felt just like it had before I was forbidden to see AJ.
