Story: A day with nature...and guns.

In celebration of our unsuccessful hunting trip, Linh and Brian have prepared a Top 5 of the Best Things to Do and Say in the Woods. Enjoy.

Number 5- 'It's red touch black, friend of Jack; red touch yellow, you gonna die. Right?'

Number 4- What is that you say? That tree is dead? Hmm, let's knock it down then. (We will have pictures in the near future to better accommodate this entry.)

Number 3- Newton's Third Law of Physics states that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. In the case of a firearm discharge, the resulting bump on Linh's head represents the reaction force.

Number 2- As water crashes over the hood, Linh intuitively discerns 'I don't think it's good for an engine to be completely submerged like that.' And why did we go on a very bumpy dirt road at 60 mph? Because we weren't wearing seat belts.

Number 1- To prove that Eppy did teach us something (including, but not limited to, how to b.s. your way through English Lit), we have identified the objective correlative of our trip: As the truck slowly cuts through the pristine forests and lush swampland, the Asian lad can be heard uttering 'I feel like I'm in a calendar...you know one of those nature ones.'
