October 4th, 2000. A day that will live forever in the lives of 4 young students named Linh, Johnny, Tony, and Carolyn. It was just like any other day. Go to school in the morning. Sit through school...hang out a bit after school playing hacky sack and whatnot. Well today was going to turn out to be a day that would never be forgotten. Walking from the CAT building, the 4 students talk about issues such as Carolyn's recent automobile accidents. Linh says with a smile "I've never been in an accident before" and is glad that he hasn't. They approach the gray 1990 Honda Accord EX sporting the 17" Chrome Enkei J-Lips in parking spot #12. They all get in and start heading home. Pulling out of the parking lot, Johnny puts in his Sublime CD. Linh digs it. Approaching the ramp onto the highway, the song "Wrong Way" comes on the radio. One of Linh's favorites...Linh decides to pass a few cars and goes into the left lane. Just as he was passing a Honda CRV and a motorcyclist who is in the far right lane, the car starts to swerve. Linh is holding the wheel straight and doesn't exactly know what's going on. Before they knew it, they were spinning out of control across the 3 lane highway. They do a 180 degree spin before finally slamming into a guardrail. Everyone is in shock. The CD player flew out of its compartment and hits Linh's leg, but is still playing after all is done. Tony asks to turn the music off and that is when it hits everyone. They just did a 180 degree spin and now are facing traffic on the side of the road. Linh looks up and around to see if everyone's okay. They are...no one seems to be majorly injured. His door is blocked by a stone wall to keep cars from falling off the overpass. So he must climb out the sunroof. He checks out the damage, the back left tire is severed from the rest of the car...looks pretty bad. Paramedics come and they all have to sign release forms. Everyone calls their parents. Johnny's father comes and picks him up. Carolyn's bf picks her up. Tony's father picks up Tony and Linh. Linh must wait for Florida Highway Patrol to check out the accident site. They don't arrive for an hour. A tow truck is called and Linh's car is towed and is never to be driven ever again. The site is revisited 7 months later and several pictures were taken.
