| No One Else... This one is for David, an ex-boyfriend. I wrote it for him for his birthday. Granted, we've been apart for a while now, but it's still a good poem :). I could tell you were different, You weren't the same as the hundreds more. You made me smile like no one else, You warmed my heart the very core. Your eyes cast a magical spell That thrilled me though and through. You stopped the rain and made the sun shine, You turned my skies a royal blue. Your smile lifted my heart, And made me feel younger still. It made me forget my troubles, Like nothing else ever will. There was something about you I'll never be able to define. It was something that drew me to you, That made me want you to be mine. Our personalities are one in the same, And I fear I'll never find A person as amazing as you, Or a person near as kind. It seems like we've known eachother forever, But I feel as if I hardly know What makes you who you are And what makes you learn and grow.
