I had been waiting for this day for 2 months and it finally came and was definitely worth it. AT the Xmas break the tickets went on sale. Lecy and I totally forgot about it and then around 6pm we realized they were on sale so Lecy called ticketmaster and asked what they had they had A5 row 6…which was good so Lecy called me and told me. We thought we might as well get them (eventho we didn’t even know moffatts were going to be there). WE called ticketmaster and asked what they said we have *front row*!!! OMG we went nuts! How could we pass up front row? So our tickets we section A6 row 1 seat 1-3 right beside section A5.

About 2-3 weeks later we heard that the moffatts were going to HOST the show! I couldn’t believe it! We were going to be 1st row with the moffatts hosting!!! That was amazing!

After 2 LONG months of waiting for the day, March 12, finally came!

I slept over at Lecy’s house on the Saturday night because she, her mom Angela, and her grandma Mama, our other friend Claudia and I would be going down to the Junes together, and if we stayed over we would have more time to get ready. Sat night was full of chatting on the net, getting all the stuff we needed to get read for the big night, giggling over the ‘what ifs’ moffatt dreams and making pillows. WE ARE THE (c)OFFICIAL PILLOW CHICKS-I’M DAVE’S PILLOW CHICK(c) We stayed up till 12am that night to ring in HAPPY JUNO DAY! Hehe!

The next morning was Juno Day and was really hectic…I had to finish my pillow, we all had to do something with our hair and get downtown by 12:30. WE didn’t get there at 12:30-we got there at 1! WE had an appointment at the MAC botth in the Bay to get our makeup done. My makeup was probably the most extreme of the 4 of us. I had like 4 different shades of purple eyeshadow that really enhanced my blue eyes (contacts) and they did my lips too. Lecy, Claudia and Angela all got glowing or natural makeup and we all looked beautiful! After MAC we went to East Side Mario’s to have a quick lunch-dinner and then took a cab down to the Skydome.

Then we got there. There weren’t that many people but a lot of people had begun to line up already. We went to Gate 6 (our gate) but since Angela was on crutches she and Mama got to go inside to sit while I, Claudia and Lecy had to wait in the cold. We saw Meagan and her friends (hey guys!) After a while, Angela thought it might be better if she got a wheelchair so she could move around easier. So we went to Gate7 to pick one up, Gate7 I think was the like Star entrance area or VIP ticket area for the Sony people! We waited there about 20 minutes and then a group of like 7 big rapper black guys came in. I was like ‘ok these guys MUST be famous’ because they were wearing like normal hiphop clothes. One of the guys began talking to Angela and I smiled and said HEY to this guy in a baby blue outfit. They were waiting for an elevator and while they waited the guy said to us (the guy talking to Angela) ‘we are performing tonight… well he, INFINITE, is, I’m his manager’. Infinite was the guy I said Hi too!!!! Their elevator came and we said bye and Infinite said ‘hope y’all enjoy the show’ and they left. We thought was pretty cool!

Another few minutes of waiting and this lady and this teen guy were standing, around the corner and were like looking for someone. The guy looked at me and we were like staring at each other for like a few second (but seemed like an eternity) and I realized it was RYAN FROM SERIAL JOE!!! I almost had a heart attack!! OMG!!!! I smiled and mouthed ‘hi’ and he mouthed ‘hey’ and he turned to someone I couldn’t see and said something to him and then JOHN turned around the corner and looked!! I was like OMGOMGOMG!! They looked SO hot in their outfits! Then they all turned the corner with Dan, John, Ryan and Stever, and walked by us. When Ryan walked by he turned to me and I said ‘hey. Good luck. I hope you win.’ And he said ‘taynx’ and stever said ‘ya taynx so much!’ I didn’t want to take any pics because it would be kinda rude to like take a pic in their faces…ya know!?? The guys went into this other room and we could see them just hanging around. I’m not sure what exactly they were doing but I really wished I was in there with them!!!

A few minutes later, we were taken down the elevator to this area. WE looked around and it seemed we were UNDER the seats and behind the Stage!!!!! On the wall it said “BACKSTAGE”, “GREEN ROOM” and “MEDIA AREA” and the other sign said “DRESSING ROOMS” OMGOMGOMG!! I was going NUTS!!! OMG WE WERE LIKE BACKSTAGE!! AHHH! Holy crap!! And then we walked to this other area and passed by the Barenaked Ladies Dressing Room!!!! And then while we continued to walk, McMaster and James went by in this buggy and waved to us!! Hehe!! We were then taken into the actual skydome field area but it was dark, but we were BEHIND THE STAGE!!!!!!! We could see the after party set up and food and all these people mingling… but couldn’t see any moffatts :( We then were at our seats which were pretty good. The Moffatts’ podium was like 10 feet from us and we were like RIGHT under the HUGE screen. We had to go to the bathroom so we got to go BEHIND THE STAGE AGAIN!! OMG!! We didn’t see anyone tho….oh well…

We went back to our seats and McMaster and James performed 3 songs, Infinite and Maestro performed, Boomtang boys and then Soul Decision. OMG TREVOR is HOT!! Whoo hoo!! Then at 8pm the show stared. But b4 it started TONS of stars walked infront of us to get to their seats. Natalie McMaster, Ivana Santilli (sp?), Our Lady Peace guys, 3 sons of Bruce Fairburn who was getting Inducted into the hall of fame…the sons were REALLY hot!! I know that is bad for me to say but they were!!! Trevor and the Soul Decision guys walked by and tons of other people…oh and Mark Taylor who plays Romeo on Student Bodies stood infront of me for a few seconds and FRANK MOFFATT walked by during a part of the show!!! Hehe!

The intro for the show was amazing!! It was sooo funny!! Moffatts were being chased all over Toronto by some of my friends!! It was really good!! And at the end of the intro they had cartoons drawings of moffatts falling thru the skydome roof and then on the stage these 4 dummies pretending to be moffatts fell from the lights onto the stage and then the real Moffatts ran across the stage!!! Ahh!! It was so funny!!! Hehe!!

During the whole show the guys presented and introduced stars like at the podium on our side so they were about 10 feet from us!! great picture opportunities!! And while they walked off stage they would turn and look at the crowd!! A few times they would look at us because they knew that we would be in front row!!! And we held up our pillows for Dave and Clint and Clint did a thumbs up!!!! Hehe!!! The whole entire show was great!! Moffatts for the first half wore nice suits…Dave was in a brown one. And then for the second half they wore like leather outfits…whoo hoo…very hot!!!! Backstreet Boys Aj and Howie were there and won Best International Group!! Yah!! And Aj did a cartwheel across the stage!!!

The show eventually came to an end…, Which was sad, because it went by so fast but was truly an amazing show!!! WE had to go back they way we came which was really good…hehe…and while we were walking…we turned around and Ed from the Barenaked Ladies was there!!! We asked if we could get pics with him and he said Sure!! He was SOOO nice!!! We each got pics with him and Claudia got his autograph and then we went and talked to Angela!! He was so sweet!!!! And then he went to his dressing room…We went back to the elevator and Angela had to go in a separate one and then we went in another. When we got up to the floor she said that Antoine from SKY was in her elevator and she met him!! AHH!!!!!!!! Hehehe!!
