SYRUP - STATIC H
Static H is the debut outing from Syrup, a relatively new band that
looks set to rock the island this summer. Don’t expect any heavy riffing
though; going by this single, Syrup is more about feeling and spirit
than turning up the volume dial. In fact, if you’ve had a listen to new
single Static H on local radio, chances are you’ve been hooked by its
catchy opening riff, which builds up to the song’s defining anthemic
chorus. Shaun’s warm and particular voice flows over the infectious
melody, the latter bearing a balanced blend of contemporary rock and
authentic 90s Irish rock references. Static H enjoyed a lengthy stay in
A3FM’s Top 10 radio chart, as well as being one of the most requested
songs by listeners of A3FM and Smash Radio. The song was recorded at
Temple Studios with David Vella. Artwork is by Derek Fenech and
