Scott Vaughn
guitar

Some might say that Scott Vaughn doesn't do anything.  It's rare to see as much as a smirk out of PROON's straight man.  He takes what he does very seriously, folks.  He's the guy that keeps us from filling our heads with thoughts of super rock stardom.  He's the one who isn't afraid to say "that idea sucks" or "you guys are a bunch of damn idiot fools".  Some might wonder why we even bother to keep the son of a bitch around. If you heard him play the answer would be quite clear. So he doesn't have a goofy smile like Eddie frickin' Van Halen.  So he doesn't gyrate his hips like Elvis.  So he doesn't have a cool five o'clock shadow like Kip Winger.  He doesn't wear tight leather pants, he doesn't have waist long hair, and he doesn't love any of you. So what. This guy sat through countless nights at home with his girlfriend watching Dawson's Creek instead of going out so that he could save money to buy a new guitar.  His car died as a result of neglect so that he could afford a new amp head and speaker cabinet (which I might add is indeed badass).  As co-founder of the band this guy lives and breathes PROON.  All that and he writes damn good songs too. So let it not be said that Scott doesn't "do anything".  Heck, he's the reason why we're all here.
