Welcome to CAP Productions. We are one of Jamaica's largest Reggae concert promotion companies, with offices in Jamaica, New York and Miami. Our track record of successful Reggae Productions stretch as far back as the Wailers in the 1960's. Below is a partial list of some of our more successful productions.
Major Accomplishments
In 1997 CAP Productions spearheaded the first ever Reggae SuperFest in Bermuda. They worked along-side Youth Promotion and TuffShoes from Bermuda, and featured such artistes as Buju Banton, Anthony B, Frankie Paul, the Shiloh Band, and backed by the Agent Band with Junior Jazz, and the Embassy Crew from Bermuda.
In addition to having the experience of working with great reggae artistes from as far back as the 1960's (including The Mighty Diamonds, Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and the Wailers), C.A.P. Productions has also worked with the likes of Luciano, Frankie Paul, Mikey General, Sizzla, Anthony B and Marcia Griffiths, just to name a few. We have also had the privilege of establishing and marketing one of the finest all-female reggae bands, Girls' Town from Montego Bay.
The company has also had the opportunity to produce shows throughout the United States and many of the Caribbean islands, including Jamaica, Bermuda, Bahamas. We have also done International shows in the UK, Europe, Eastern Europe and Japan.
We have had the privileges and experience in working with other big brother promoters such as Sun Splash, Japan Splash, Reggae Superfest, and Summer Jam, just to name a few. In 1998 CAP Productions worked with New York University's (NYU) Caribbean Student Association in promoting and providing the entertainment for their yearly Caribbean Fund Raiser/Entertainment. We look forward to working with other Colleges and Univeristies in the future.
The upcoming shows that C.A.P. will produce include:"A Mother's Day Tribute and Extravaganza" with Toots & The Maytals and Morgan's Heritage. Other upcoming shows include the Luciano Summer Tour, Japan Splash, and Summer Festivals for 1999.
We at CAP Productions-Promotions have a very wide spread community relations, both in the U.S. and Abroad, and we are committed to providing safe and entertaining concerts and promotions. We also hope to establish a mutual interest so that together we can continue to provide an informative and cultural entertainment enmvironment.
