11.11.01 - We'll be playing a show again for the first time in 7 months in Philly on Dec 16. Whew, it's been a while.
1.5.01 - The CD came out on April 7. Track us down if you want a copy. They're selling for $2 or so at shows. Email me and i'll let you know how much it'll be for mailorder if you'd rather do it that way. No word on the LP as of yet. The show on April 7 rocked hard. Gunspiking rocked as did Harum Scarum. We'll be taking a hiatus for the summer after May 13. Probably start rocking in September or so, based out of Philly then. Finally time to say fuck off to Central PA.
5.2.01 - All of the recording was done. The DAT was sent out to be put on the LP (with four songs - Bloodlines, How Dare They, Reflections of Truth, and Born//Buy//Consume//Die). We're working on the artwork for the LP now, some is done and the rest will be done as soon as we can schedule some time to meet up with the Opposition and get their ideas for the artwork also. The remaining songs (another 12 or so, I think) will all go on the CD when we get around to it. I hope to have the CD out before the LP, but we're slackers - who knows when it will be done.
11.1.01 - Wrought With Sickness finally got into the studio on the 8th, and started off by recording all of the music tracks for the CD and the split LP. We'll be heading back in a few days to record the vocals and do all of the mixing. The CD will be out about a week or so after that, the LP will be out in a month or two.
29.11.00 - We're going into the studio to record soon. We will be releasing a CD by ourselves, and Rotten Propaganda will be releasing a split LP with Opposition for us. The CD should be done by the end of December, the LP by late January or so.
23.11.00 - I should really update the news section more than once every three months, but oh well. Erica now officially took on the duties singing, so we now have two singers again. Also, we had a few shows since the last posting. Two were in Bill's basement, the first being with Winterlong(State College) and Fire In The Radio(State College), and the second one being with Entrenched(State College) and By Any Means Necessary(Altoona). Both shows went well. Also, we played here at Penn State in the Rock For Democracy show with Government Satire (Allentown), Bobbykork (Philly), and Hopeless Dregs of Humanity(New Brunswick, NJ). On the tenth this month we played at Mr. Roboto Project again with Corpus Christi and Aus Rotten. Finally, we played at Penn State again with Stave (Baltimore), Bullet Parade(State College), Silence Weilds No Beauty (Newton), and the Radical Cheerleaders(Philly). This last show was a Rock For Choice benefit which was planned to raise money for clinic access groups. I don't know how much was raised, but it was a good show.
13.9.00 - We had a few shows over the summer, one with Submission Hold and AntiProduct in Binghampton, NY, and another in State College with Jumbo, GunSpiking, Bryon Gill Trio, and World B. Both shows rocked hard. Another show on the 8th of september was definitely interesting. It was at Mr. Roboto in pittsburgh and was a benefit for those arrested at the RNC protests. AJ couldn't make it at the last minute, and neither could the other band. Erica (our singer from Armed Response) filled in and it was a hell of a lot of fun. Three of us were in Philly for the RNC protest, and two ended up being arrested for CD and have court dates coming up soon. Wish everyone good luck in beating the trumped up charges. Fuck the philly police.
8.6.00 - Rot with Sickness has been changed to Wrought with Sickness, which was the intended spelling. A change in personnel accompanies the change in spelling, as Tom and Tony both went their separate ways and are in another band.
15.4.00 - Two shows in the past couple of weeks. Both went very well. On March 24, we played a benefit for Books for Prisoners at the Mr. Roboto project in Pittsburgh with Opposition, All on the Outside, and Annihilation Uprising. We rocked pretty fucking hard and were having a good time, and we partied with a bunch of Pittsburgh punks afterwards. On april 14, we played in Johnson City, NY. Due to car problems and leaving late due to work and school, we arrived right before we played and didn't get to catch any of the other bands. It was a long haul, but it was fun.
18.1.00 - The show on the 15th seemed to go well, all of the bands rocked, and we had a good time. I didn't hear anything about the amount that was made for the benefit, although there did seem to be quite a few people there. Hopefully the Altoona scene can make a comeback. It fucking needs it.
12.1.00 - A few days ago Tom was beat up by a group of Nazis, suffering dislocated fingers in his right hand and had to undergo surgery and have a pin put in his arm. This put him out of commission for playing guitar for the next six weeks, so he won't be able to rock out with us on the show on the fifteenth. Nazis suck ass.
22.10.99 - There hasn't been much going on lately. Hopefully we'll record soon since we keep on writing new songs and throwing old ones away. I'd like to have the old ones on tape just for the hell of it.
15.9.99 - So, the two songs weren't exactly up to my standards. The two comps that they were supposed to be on both fell through (they were both being done by the same guy). We sent out tapes to two different comps also but i have not heard from either person that was doing those comps. If you know anything about them, write to me and maybe let me know how i can get a copy.
20.7.99 - RWS played a few shows recently, one in Baltimore with Axiom, Ochlocracy, and Thirteen Stripes of Shit, and One in Meadeville that was supposed to be with Zycosa but they never showed. The Baltimore show was fun as hell but most of us were way fucked up and sloppier than...well, really sloppy. The Meadeville show sucked. We drove four hours to play in front of about ten people, seven of whom stayed outside. That was really surprising considering that when we played Meadeville before, the scene was awesome and there were tons of people there. Oh well, someone there said that their scene had gone to shit in the past few months.
31.5.99 - Rot With Sickness recorded two songs in mid March which will be appearing on two compilations. Another session is in the works to record the rest of the 15 current songs.
