JC doesn't want a relationship to complicate his life any more than it already is. With his career taking off to epic proportions, a relationship would only make things more stressful. Then he meets Michaela, Chris's best friend's younger sister and immediately becomes smitten. But, because of a horrible relationship she's trying to work through in her mind, she isn't looking for a relationship either. Though he tries to help her through getting over the abuse she's suffered for years, things become more complicated by the moment. Just when things start to settle down and become more comfortable for them all, tragedy strikes at the hand of Michaela, throwing them all into despair.
