Nature
As I watch the sun sink beneath the earth,
Sunbeams and shadows delicately play on my face.
The cool wind rushes about my body,
Picking up one leaf after another,
Then dropping them back to the ground.
Suddenly, the dim light of dusk goes out,
And slowly stars start to surround me.
Soon a billion stars blanket the sky.
A few play tag amongst themselves
While the others stand by, silently watching,
Waiting, burning with unmeasured pride.
It's funny how when you really look at nature
It comes to life before your very eyes.
