Words and music by Jimi Hendrix.
Recorded: Olympic Studios, London, May 5, 1967
Jimi Hendrix: Voice of Mr. Paul Carusoe, Guitar    Mitch Mitchell: Voice of the Radio Station EXP Announcer
Producer: Chas Chandler                                          Engineer: Terry Brown
Notes: The real Paul Carusoe is a musician Jimi played with in 1966, who thought using his name in a song was very nice of Jimi. It is also really spelled Caruso, not as in the album booklet.
The opening jingle is the beginning of "Stone free". Making the bizarre sounds in this song took Jimi almost the whole recording session.
LYRICS
[Spoken:]
Announcer: Good Evening, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to Radio Station EXP. Tonight, we are featuring an interview with a very peculiar looking gentleman who goes by the name of Mr. Paul Carusoe, on the dodgy subject of are there or are there not flying saucers or ... ahem, UFOs. Please, Mr. Carusoe, could you give us your regarded opinion on this nonsense about spaceships and even space people.
Mr. Carusoe: Thank you. As you all know, you just can't believe everything you see and hear, can you. Now, if you will excuse me, I must be on my way.
Announcer: Bu ... but, but ..., glub ... I, I can't believe it!
Mr. Carusoe: Spfzzzsh pfft! Pop! Bang! ??!#%I)Å"#¤(%§§!Æ!
