Tame
Days go by without notice,
Only you can bring me back.
I'm lost in space,
Hurtling through emptiness.
Nothing to stop me nor bring me back,
Only you can claim this feat.
I am the mustang you captured,and then set free.
You came near and then I'd flee.
Now you've tamed me, and hold my heart,
A little toy you play around with.
I trust you to keep me safe,
And be there when I need you.
How can you do this when I'm lost,
Not knowing where you're at?
Hurtling through space without a cause.
Hoping you will bring me back.
