~~"Wildheart's personal TIMESPACE of his
21 Stevie concerts"~~
The first Stevie show I ever
saw was a benefit concert Don Henley had for Mullholand Drive at
Universal Amp. in 1984...It featured Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, Jackson
Brown, and others...
Stevie sang "Stand Back" ,Leather & Lace (with Don) and
"Stop draggin' my heart around" with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers!
Of
coarse the only reason I went was for Stevie! I remember sneaking in the
theatre as Tom & Stevie were rehearsing, and the first thing I saw was
Stevie twirling like crazy and Tom tappin' his foot to the beat! Then, I
saw the "Rock A Little" tour 3 times (which was so increadible!) 15th row
at Pacific Ampatheatre, one at the Forum in L.A, and another time at the
San Diego Sports arena and also a benefit concert she did in Long Beach
off the same tour!
The Rocks A Little tour was so high energy! I never
would have guessed she was having so many personal problems! Such great
memories of that tour! I I saw The "Tango" tour twice, and it was at the
L.A. forum, and was very excellent, even though I was dissapointed Lindsey
wasn't there!
The "Other side of the Mirror" tour I saw 4 times, once at
Pacific Ampatheatre ,and 3 times and the Greek Theatre in L.A. Stevie was
great ,but I sensed her energy level wasn't as high...She didn't twirl as
much, but I later heard her ankle had cracked in a pool accident, and she
had little rhinestone Reebox made for the tour:-) Still, she seemed
distant....
I saw "Behind the Mask" twice...Once 3rd row at Irvine
Meadows, and at that show, Stevie had lost a bunch of weight and entered
the stage in a miniskirt! I have NEVER seen her DANCE as hard as she did
on this concert! She went wild! I got to hand her a rose! I saw the
"mask" tour the second time at the "break-up" concert at te Forum in L.A
.Lindsey showed up for "Landslide", "Go your own way" and "Dont Stop"..My
friend Holly was crying she was so upset! Stevie was great, but she was
more calm at this performance,a nd had gained a bit of weight since I had
seen her 7 months earlier...
I saw the "Timespace" tour Once 1st Row at
Irvine Meadows and Stevie handed ME the flowers at the beginning of the
show! I still have them! Also got guitarist Les Dudek's guitar pick!
This was a great show! We got to shake her hands (Holly & I)....I saw the
tour again at the Greek theatre, and it was just as good!
For "Street
Angel" I saw her once 1st row at the GREEK, and again held her hands, gave
her a penguin and hugged her with my friend, Lara...She had gained alot
of weight, and the album wasn't selling well, but the CROWD was oblivious
to this, and she was AWESOME! I LOVED this concert! I saw the tour again
at Irvine Meadows......
I saw the DANCE concert twice, the closest seats I
could get were 15th row (1st 3 rows were $700.00!!!) I was mesmerized!
FINALLY! The MAC, with Lindsey!!! And STEVIE sounding and looking better
then ever! Then my old friend, Holly & I went to the "Hollywood Bowl" show and we had a blast!! That show sold out in a record 11 minutes!
Finally, for
"Enchanted", I attended the Universal Amp. show, and it was so great!
Stevie was BACK!!! The Stevie that we all knew and loved!!!!! I
especially loved this set, to be able to hear B sides, and rare
songs.. Mick Fleetwood suprised everyone and showed up, and did his cool
"drum solo" thing!! Then, Angela and I attended the Irvine Meadows show
1st row center, and basically were on the lip of the stage the whole
show! My arm rested on Stevie's extension cord to her speaker! I again
held her hands and she looks YOUNGER than ever! Both shows were awesome!
The "Enchanted" tour was my favorite solo tour since Rock a Little, in
overall energy, and vocal style...Although,all the other shows I have
seen over the years were great! I have NEVER been dissapointed in ANY of
the 21 shows I have seen..Each offered different angles, and sides of her
music, and were a unique experience...
So, this is MY "Timespace" of my 21
Stevie Nicks concerts.......
