In 1986, I was living with a girl that loved this song. . "Pleasure and Pain" ..it was by an Australian act called, DIVINYLS

..I had read about this group that was ALWAYS supposed to be BREAKING in to the charts.. Speed up to 1991: I saw "I TOUCH MYSELF" on MTV and bought the DIVINYLS self titled CD and then went and saw them at the HOLLYWOOD PALADIUM with my friend, Holly.

The lead singer,Christina Amphlette, has the most striking voice..and some of her songs have DEEP meaning as well as some very nasty ones! Her stage presence is increadible, with her trademark POUT and a rockin' band backing her...They have a new CD in Australia, called Underworld, and it is a great piece of musical art..
