Daniel de los Rayes is a musical genius. An incredible musician, with exceptional talents, he has released his first solo album, "San Rafael
560"
, and the album is a great testimony to this great artist.

Daniel has played with the top recording stars in the world, including Stevie
Nicks, Don Henley, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin
, so one would expect
this album to be very rock & roll influenced. Instead, Daniel opted for a
trip back to the beautiful sounds of the 1940's and 50's Cuban music.

Relaxing, and intoxicating, this music is so rich, and full of
rhythms, sounds, and melodies that are an absolute delight to listen to
over and over. Some of the music is very danceable, and will make you want
to do the "CHA CHA CHA"(LUCY I'M HOME!!!!!)! And other tracks are so
romantic, and mysteriously seductive.

Even if you don't understand the words, the music speaks the language for you.

Timeless, classic mood music. And Daniel's percussion playing is nothing short of astounding!

I was lucky enough to have been able to see Daniel perform live, and the
experience was amazing! To see that energy at work, and making the
incredible sounds  he makes, really left an impression on me.  Normally, I
always listen to Rock & Roll, but this solo album is an incredible
listening experience.  I recommend this album highly. It is a musical
piece of art, that is timeless, as it is inspiring.  A+
