Living up to everyone's expectation is a difficult task.
Everyone wants something different.
Everyone looks at me in a different way.

With each person there is a difference.
A different role I have to play,
A different person I have to be.

I try to be like people want me to be,
But it is a difficult task,
Since everyone wants me to be something different.

Tonight I decided to live up to my expectations.
As soon as I decided that I realized something,
I realized that I didn't know what my expectations were.

I was so busy trying to live up to everyone else's,
I forgot to figure out what I wanted.
I forgot to figure out what goals I wanted to reach.

Everyone expects so much out of me.
It seems like I have millions of things to do,
So that I can please everyone.

What happened to pleasing myself?
What happened to living up to my expectations?
What happened to reaching my goals?

Don't be like me.
Don't allow others to figure out your goals.
Figure out your own goals and reach for them.
