Why are you always acting?
You are always on stage
Your audience is the world.

You came up with a character.
Someone you want to be like,
Someone you want others to see you as.

You are always acting
Acting like you think others see you
Acting like an actor in a movie

You are like an actor
There is one difference though
You never come out of your character

You don't think that your true self is good enough
Little do you know, the person next to you is trying to be like your true self
Everyone acts like somone else's true self

Everyone is constantly performing
Trying to get approval from others
When they could get approval if they were just themselves

So why don't you try being yourself
Stop being an actor
And get off the stage!
