This is a poem I wrote and gave to Ellie 1 week before she died. I chose this background because when Ellie told me she was termially ill she said "I Love Angels Now I'm Gonna Be One" Ellie I hope you are in the clouds looking down. Maybe you can see just how far I have advanced in this old computer. I hope you'll be my guardian angel and protect me from the things I cannot see or know, but most of all I hope you are at peace. Ellie you were the best friend a person could have.

OUR PATHS CROSSED FIRST SO MANY YEARS AGO....
WRONGFULLY AND TEARFULLY SO

SOME HOW WE MANAGED OT BECOME FRIENDS AND PUT THE PAST BEHIND
I NEVER KNEW YOU WOULD BECOME SO DEAR TO THIS LIFE OF MINE

THE BRAINSTORMS WE'VE HAD AND THE TALKS WE'VE SHARED
THROUGH IT ALL I NEVER TOLD YOU HOW MUCH I REALLY CARED

YOU DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE HAS EVER GIVE
I PRAY EACH NIGHT FOR GOD TO LET YOU LIVE

BUT LIVING YOU WILL BE WHEN YOU GET TO THAT PEARLY GATE
IN A WORLD WITH NO FEAR NO DECEIT NO HATE

YOU FINALLY WILL HAVE WHAT I THINK YOU DESERVE
PEACE AND LOVE AND HAPPINESS THE WAY YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN SERVED

I ADMIRE YOUR STRENGTH AND WILL MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW
