Before I launch the website - an interesting thing happened this week -One of my fave metal bands Dream Theater released a cd on Tuesday called Live scenes from New York which highlights thier cd Metropolis ptII:Scenes from a memory in a live concert and seems to combine both the extra songs they played on the second leg of the tour and the entire Change of seasons epic.
Why does this matter?The cover that you see above shows the New York skyline on fire and the apple has replaced thier normal heart on flame symbol.The band had no idea that on Tuesday New York would be hit by terrorist or that the cd cover would become a symbol that many cd stores are now refusing to carry.No one could have predicted what happened and the band is pondering pulling and re-releasing the cover artwork and adding a dedication.
I wanted to share this tidbit of information with everyone and share a small message from my own thoughts about this - I am angered that people are so upset on the cover and the band is equally upset & plan on changing it-lets not run from the scenes of NYC yet revel in it!Its our city that we love! *Shane*

Hey all - sorry for the site closing but I wanted to make a tribute.
Today i watched in horror at Wal*Mart while a plane smashed into the World Trade Center.Thanks to the customer who told me to turn a TV on,we got a local station in just within seconds to see the 2nd plane crash live into the second building.
An hour later both buildings crashed into the ground killing probably 10K+ people and i was almost in tears.I skiped lunch to stay tuned to the tv which the Wal*Mart network went to CNN (SHOCK!)I continued watching while bieng numbed to the situations. Ill skip my reactions but sadly my mind kept racing and calling my wife on her cellphone trying to contact relatives that live a mile away from the blast sites.

Tonight we have found that our relatives are safe but many people did not get to come home and get to give a hug or kiss to the love ones that they have had to leave behind.
Many have lost thier lives on thier airplanes.... 266 lives on the planes alone.I remember when they announced the #'s and saying Im glad there werent alot of people on board but then it hit me,it could have been me and Heather,any of our friends... ANYONE On those damn planes could have been ANY Of us!

The rest of the page and site is dedicated to anyone who has been affected to the acts of terrorism on U.S. soil.Our hearts and minds wish all the best.
The first section shows my wonderful first trip to N.Y.C. and within seconds of seeing the skyline thinking how i wanted to see those towers having no clue as to what they were.I did get to see it and these pictures were what I saw...

The second section shows the cowardice attack in NYC (i didnt use the pentagon and other attacks werent ignored just not pictured but are just as tragic) I chose the New York attack because it hits EXTREMLY close to me with relatives there.Thanks for coming to my page and I love you for caring eneough to come and see...

One last thought,before you leave someone you care about,give them a huge hug and kiss because we never know when we might never get to actually say goodbye so leaving them with a smile it will remain with them forever.

Taken on a ferry going to long island,I always admired the twin towers...I feel almost heartbroken

This is further out in the bay but the buildings are still visible.The Trade Center was in fact visible from long island

Looking down a street right down from the World Trade Center.The dust clouds rolled down this street which i saw on the news...*shudders*

Me at a -MUCH SMALLER- version of the Statue of Liberty,another symbol of the country.This was also just blocks from the W.T.C.

I believe that the building behind the smaller building is in fact just behind the W.T.C. but this isnt confirmed because i saw so many pictures of buildings but i am 90%sure it is
