Bela's influences include good Russian vodka and an inability to say NO. The rewards af playing to small crowds, making no money and lugging gear late at night during the Canberra winters seems to make it all worth it though.
Here is the equipment that the Big S uses to create his thunder. His bass of choice is a G&L L2000. The busines end of the equipment starts with a Hartke Model 3500 amp. The Hartke pushes out 350 watts of shear bass thunder into 4 ohms. This beast is then fed into the good old Peavey 115BX BW which handles peaks of 700 watts and is capable of soaking up 350 watts all night without any problems.
Unlike the other two members of the band Scott finds the point of listing influences futile. "We don't sound like any of the bands I listen to anyway. People should judge our music on face value not our F#%@cking CD collection!". Strong words for one so young.
The Skinsman, Prankster and Spiritual Leader of the band is Nathan. He was also the last element in the band coming together to be what they are today.
Nathan adds yet another slant to Beaver's songs with his opinions on arrangments and dynamics, (more importanatly letting the others know when something sux) he also helps to mould Beaver's sound.
Being a part time actor/director with a small independant movie company known as Bungendore Productions also occupies a lot of this boys time.
Some Of Nathan's influences are
Soundgarden, Faith No More, Dave Weckl, VanHalen, Rollins Band and Pennywise.
Dallas is also a part time actor and producer with Bungendore Productions.
Scott Makin is the other song writer in Beaver. His knowledge in both arranging and composing expand Beaver's sound outside that of simple rock.
Equipment:
Dallas was the fourth and final member to join Beaver and has helped them expand their sound, he joined the band in the beginning of 1999 after a few guest appearances at the end of '98.
