Trouble in Shangri-La was released in the US on May 1st. The album features guest vocals from Sheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Macy Gray and Natalie Maines. Trouble in Shangri-La features 13 tracks produced or co-produced by a number of musicians, all of whom also play on the album: Sheryl Crow, John Shanks, Mike Campbell, Pierre Marchand, Rick Nowels, David Kahne and Nicks herself. High-profile guest appearances are turned in by Macy Gray on "Bombay Sapphire," Natalie Maines of The Dixie Chicks on "Too Far from Texas" — both of whom contribute vocals — and Sarah McLachlan, who adds piano, acoustic guitar and background vocals to the album’s tender closer, "Love Is." Advance information tentatively indicates that Nicks wrote eight of the album’s songs herself, including the title track, and co-wrote two others. The complete track list, in sequence, but always subject to change: "Trouble in Shangri-La," "Candlebright," "Sorcerer," "Planets of the Universe," "Everyday," "Too Far from Texas," "That Made Me Stronger," "It’s Only Love," "Love Changes," "I Miss You," "Bombay Sapphire," "Fall from Grace" and "Love Is."

Stevie Nicks’ summer-long Trouble In Shangri-La Tour came to tearful end on October 10, 2001 at Universal City Amphitheater in Los Angeles. Fans and critics alike praised The Tour, which began on July 6 at the Post Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA.
