I am currently trading bootlegs. I trade audio CD-R's.
Enjoy!

My Rules

To Top

    What I do:

  1. I do not sell anything ever.
  2. I do not trade commercially available releases.
  3. I do not do B+P or 2: 1. This may change in the future when the collection becomes larger. Besides, my tastes are so spread out, that you will probably have something I will like.
  4. If trading as part of a tree, if I am your branch, you send postage for me to send to you if you send blanks. If you we work out a trade, postage is paid by each sender.
  5. I can not trade things I do not have. I will agree to trade things that I do not have if I am expecting it from someone I have traded with successfully before.
  6. I guarantee every disc I send. If it does not play, I will replace it with blanks (if you can read the data via PC using Exact Audio Copy) or a new copy of the material. I guarantee discs because:
    1. I use Exact Audio Copy to rip. This uses Digital Audio Extraction. (There is no quality loss.)
    2. I use Easy CD Pro to burn.
    3. I am currently using TDK 74 minute discs. I also have some Imation 80 minute, Verbatim 80 minute, and TDK 80 minute discs. The 80 minute discs will only be used if the material requires it or for B+P that requires it. I have also used Sony's.
    4. I burn discs at 1X.
    5. I always use DAO.
    6. I burn using a Yamaha CRW6416s connected via SCSI.
    7. I check every disc after burn using Exact Audio Copy.
    8. I listen to every disc all the way through on my Panasonic SL-S231C.
  7. I will supply artwork if I have it.
    1. I may have the cover scan and set list posted on a page linked to this page.
    2. If I don't, then I can send you a URL to someone else's page that contains the artwork and set list.
    3. If I can't do that, I can email the cover scan and set list.
    4. I can also create artwork in black and white on plain paper. The inserts I create are for single discs, slim doubles, and fat triples. I can send this artwork.
    5. I can also send you the relevant part of my cdplayer.ini file via email. This is by your request.
  8. I send without cases. I wrap each disc in a piece of paper with the name written on the paper. I then sandwich the discs between two pieces of cardboard. I also mark packages with "DO NOT BEND."
  9. I send using first class mail which takes about two or three days for the east coast, three or four for the west coast. I prefer to deal only within the USA and sometimes Canada.
  10. I email when I send. I email when I receive.
  11. I like to put the people that I have had good trading experiences with on the page below.
  12. I expect you to do the same or to tell me which things you will not do.

When contacting me please answer the following questions:

  1. Do you guarantee every disc you send will play correctly?
    1. What software do you use to rip?
    2. What software do you use to burn?
    3. Do you burn discs using DAO?
    4. What hardware do you use?
    5. What brand and capacity discs do you use?
    6. What speed do you burn?
    7. Do you check every disc? If so, how?
  2. Where do you live?
  3. Do you send cases?
  4. Do you have artwork?

Here are some things you should do:

  1. You must be honest.
  2. You must guarantee that the discs will play. You must either replace with blanks or new discs any disc that does not play. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  3. You must use quality name brand discs.
  4. You must burn at low speeds.
  5. You must use Digital Audio Extraction.
  6. You must use DAO.
  7. You must send artwork if you have it, via email, posting it to the web, or with the discs.
  8. You must keep in touch via email.
