July 25th a fourth day of me being my usualy jerk-ass self with foreigners and the religious Previous Day | Next Day

Well after fixing the door on Boyle's car, Me, Lauren, and Boyle all head into the school and sit around waiting for the meeting at 9:15. There's no news really. Not much happened the night before that gets mentioned at least, except we are told to make sure that there aren't any male and female pilgrims in the same bed at any time. I look at Lauren. Lauren looks at me. We have a good laugh. Also, the two women who are the head organizers tell all of us (the fire wardens) that they think of us like their children, so they give us bags of candy. There's a few sour keys, laffy taffy, jubes jubes, and a candy necklace in the bag. Because I haven't eaten enough junk already. Well we put that stuff away, and wait for the Pilgrims to arrive again. At 10:00 we all go outside and wait around. One of the girls, who i can't remember her name, i'll just call her Red, cuz her shirt was red, shows us her monkey dance. It was nothing special, lol. Then another girl who i can't remember her name, so i'll call her green, cuz she was wearing green, Says she'll give $2 to anyone who runs through all of the sprinklers in the football field. I immediately run to the field. They weren't wussy little sprinklers either. They were like big jets of water shooting over halfway across the field. So i jump through the first two, no problem, but the third one shoots straight up, probably about 15 feet in the air or something. I jump straight over the middle, and get instantly soaked. When i came back over, they said the could hear the water hitting my pants from where they were (which is about 100 m away i think, pretty far anyways). A couple of the girls run through the sprinklers too, but i am easily the wettest. Then me and Red decided to run through the sprinklers again. Water is fun. The pilgrims all show up now, and I'm soaking wet and have no clothes to change into, except a sweatshirt I brought cuz I was cold. so anyways, we greet the pilgrims and cheer and things like that again, then i go change my shirt, and we all go hang out in the cafetorium. Checo and Boyle play hacky-sack for a while, but then Boyle kicks the thing way up high onto a little ledge. Checo punches him a few times, then the three of us go in search of something to knock it down with. We find some broom sticks and poles and things up behind the stage, and Boyle heads out to his car to get a roll of duct tape. Someone points out that the drama room is open, and I head in there to look around. One of the cabinets was open, and inside theres all kinds of jackets and shirts and things i can't identify. I grab this little white jacket, and a white fur collar, and head back into the caf. They had already taped all the sticks together and were trying to knock the hacky-sack down. I took a shot at it, but i couldn't get it either. Some staff guy notices what we are doing, and heads upstairs to help. They got it back eventually somehow, i wasnt paying any attention. I was too involved in a game of euchre with Boyle and two of the Pilgrims. The pilgrims didn't know how to play, so I was teaching them while we played, and dancing around in my ugly jacket. Some people cheered, some gave me weird looks as they walked by, and I commented on how I was such a ladies man. The pilgrims were going to sleep early again that night, so I just told them to shower and stuff like that, and not much happened. After all the lights were off and stuff, i headed to the lounge where Lauren and Checo were acting strangely giddy. Checo had been kind of crazy all night since he had jumped "really really far". They discussed his jumping far again and I headed out to find out where steph was. I went into the gym that she was sleeping in, and headed over to her bed, but she wasn't there. So i went and check the Caf, the Lounge, the medical room, and the Chapel, and still didnt find her. I went back to the lounge again, and checo and lauren are freaking out because every time one of them says my name I walk into the room. Continuing in my search for Steph, I decide to check her bed again. She's lying there, and shes like "oooh its you. i was wondering who was walking at me with a flashlight". The she said something about how i shouldn't be there, so i think she thought i was gonna sleep there or something. I wanted her damn word search book!!! she looks around but she couldn't find it, but after a few minutes it turns up, and we both head to the lounge. I start doing a puzzle where you had to find as many animal names that have more than 5 letters in them as you can, and Steph tore out a page and was doing that one. Lauren wanted a smoke, and Checo went out with her. After a while a security guard comes and tells us that we are supposed to be in our beds supervising the pilgrims, so me and Steph whine a bit then head back to bed. I don't remember anything after that, but i fell asleep and woke up at 5:30. We woke up all the Belgian pilgrims again, but the Kitchener kids got to sleep in until 9:00 that morning for some reason. All the fire wardens that were awake sat around in the lounge and ate everything we could get our hands on (i had about ten oreos for breakfast) until we had to get the Belgians on their buses at 6:00. After that, Checo and Steph both left, but i said I would stay and wake up one of the other wardens groups at 9:00, cuz she said she had to go somewhere or something. Boyle stayed, because some of his pilgrims were from kitchener, and Lauren stayed because she was getting a ride home off Boyle. Me and Lauren lied around in bed for most of the time until nine, and hung out with all the kids that were coming to summer school around 8:00. At my school, just before the first class begins they play music for a few minutes on the P.A. and this turned out to be incredibly amusing. As soon as the music started i ran to the gym with the kitchener kids. The music woke all of them up, and they were all complaining that they were supposed to sleep for another hour. ah, it was entertaining. Me and Green had a good laugh, then after a while me and lauren decided to go to sleep again for a while. when 9:00 finally rolled around, me and green both grabbed our whistles and headed into the gym and blew them as loud as we could. Thats why all the kitchener kids hate me now, lol. Well anyways, nothing really happened after that. we hung around with the summer school kids a bit more, then sent the kitchener kids and the Swedish people off to Toronto. After that we all headed home. I decided i'd spend the home today for the purposes of showering and also because i ate way too much candy and i feel sick as hell. But tomorrow is another day.
