Playing a 6string Warwick bass and a 5 string fretless bass built by Trey
Combs, Jim joined the Band in April of 1996. He also sings and plays keys.
Jim served as the principal bassist for the University of Kentucky and
Morehead State University jazz bands. When living in Lexington he played
in the legendary saxophonist Duke Madison's band. Jim has played professionally
for 12 years.
