Dear Bradshaw List:

I'm looking for additional information on my great great great Grandfather, Thomas BRADSHAW. According to my Great grandmother Fern COMPTON (nee BRADSHAW), he was a skilled tradesman and boatwright. He lived in Shippingport, Kentucky -- close to Louisville.

He married Isabella Wiley MCKEEVER on Oct 3, 1849 and they had (3) children:

Althea Edmund (my g2 Grandfather) [July 7, 1850-Sept 6, 1930)
(married twice: #1 Amanda Lake ARNOLD; #2 Hester Ann BISHOP)
Thomas Hugby [Oct 6, 1852 - ?]
Mattie Bradshaw (married Adolph ROHLFING)

At this juncture, I'm not quite sure what happens. Either Thomas BRADSHAW died and Isabella remarried, or they were divorced, which was quite uncommon at that time.

Isabella had (3) additional children by a man with the last name CURTIFS.

Mary Anna Wiley (Feb 27, 1857 - ?)
Isabella Sara (Jan 28, 1859 - ?)
Eliza Jane (Dec 29, 1860 - Jan 4, 1861)**

**Isabella died of consumption three days after giving birth prematurely to Eliza Jane. Eliza Jane lived for only 6 days.
