 Give Cows a Chance! |
I'm not asking everyone to become a vegetarian, but here are a few facts to consider about livestock-based agriculture:
~ 10,000 gallons of water are required to produce one pound of beef.
~ Cows and chickens are routinely fed a meal containing ground up body parts of other animals. (This is how Mad Cow Disease is contracted and spread.)
~ Methane gas produced by livestock significantly damages the ozone layer.
