A 5 minute short experamental currently in pre-production. Slated to begin principal photography in October.
A Boys Life (working title The Art of War)has finished principal photography and will hit the editing suite on September 1st. They shot 12 400' rolls of film, and by viewing the dailes it looks as if all will be well. We have our fingers crossed that all will come out good.
Divers>, has been pushed back to the middle of August. Right now it looks like it will be shot on BetaSP (or hopefully 16mm) and edited on the AVID. It should be completed in time for the winter/spring festival tour. We will keep you up to date as things begin to develop.
It looks as if we are going to shoot IN SEARCH OF THE MUFF DIVERS on 16mm.. although we may have to go black & white. A new script is in the works and we're looking to go in early September!
10 Cents A Minute has ended it's festival crawl. It garneshed no awards, but was played in 10 different cities in front of hundreds of people, okay well dozens... Anyway, it's not to bad for a film that was shot over one night on 8mm video.
All went well on the WHY NCSA? shoot. It recieved a standing ovation from the students, but the faculity hated it because; "they wanted in on the jokes". My suggestion to them is, YOU live on campus and then you'll get the damn jokes!!!!!! So from now until god knows when, all newly arriving North Carolina School of the Arts students will be exposed to this reality (ha!) view of campus life!!! Oh what joys!!! The screenplay is in the screenplay section. And don't forget to check the credits!!!!
